***SINCE I POSTED THIS, I’m told Steve-O bought a farm on the outskirts of Portland.
And, I understand he is big on animal rescue.
He told US Weekly that he credited his two rescue dogs, Walter and Bernie, with helping him to maintain his sobriety.

Wait, no, no.
I mean he was on Jackass and so you may he familiar with Steve-O.
For those who are not he is perhaps best known for
his shocking and pain-inducing stunts in the reality comedy television series Jackass.
Anyway, Steve-O was in middle Tennessee this week.
Police in Portland posted:
“As law enforcement, every day is different, and you never really know what to expect.
Some days are tough, some are challenging, and yes, some can be downright surprising!
We had the unexpected pleasure of running into none other than Steve-O, the legendary comedian and stunt performe
We know you might think that interactions with celebrities could be a bit… well, out of the ordinary, but Steve-O was as down-to-earth, humble, and cool as they come.
It’s nice to be reminded that not all of police work is about handling difficult situations—sometimes, it’s about good conversations and random encounters with cool people.”

We have BIG news!📣

On World Spay Day, we are excited to announce a new program aimed at tackling pet overpopulation! Starting in June 2025, a partnership between Nashville Humane and Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control will offer affordable spay and neuter services to Davidson County residents through our ROVER program!

This pilot program, created in response to the community's biggest need, will bring much-needed, low-cost services to reduce pet overpopulation and support animal welfare in our area. Our goal is to improve access to spay/neuter services, enhance the overall well-being of pets in Davidson County, and help combat overcrowded shelters everywhere.

We want to give a special thank you to our dedicated staff and supporters across both organizations for making this initiative a reality! This has been in the development stages for a long time, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact it has on Davidson County and beyond.
