Christine, Chili, R***r and I got to visit Sterling Care residents in Forest Hill, MD as Pets on Wheels volunteers. The residents enjoyed their furry K9 visitors and told us all about their previous K9’s and K9’s at home. They were so excited to see us and can’t wait for us to return we have already scheduled future appointments.

Summer is the best time to get a new puppy or dog. You have longer days for walks and playtime, there are activities everywhere. There is so much to do that you can even include your socialization training as well.

Even though the weather has been extremely hot, I get out early to do my training and hikes. The dogs are loving the water and their swimming mechanics have improved so much. Believe it or not, not all dogs know how to swim and getting them confident in the water is so beneficial for them.

Dog training should start the day your puppy or dog comes home. There is so much to teach them and keeping it fun while training is what we do best. Everyone wants a well behaved dog, so why not JUMP IN and get your dog training started!

With the start of summer just days away, many of you are getting new puppies or dogs. So why not get enrolled in one of our Foundation Puppy, Adolescent, Intermediate, Competition or Scent Work Classes?

It is so important to start that puppy on the right path by incorporating training into your everyday life.

New Advanced Rally session starting on June 7. We will review advanced signs and concepts while introducing excellent and master options. Courses will be set each week with options to increase or decrease difficulty in order to accomodate dogs of various levels. If there is interest, we will set virtual courses for Advanced or Excellent for submission to AKC. Dogs should have an understanding of basic Rally concepts, rules and signs as well as be able to work comfortably in a group with other dogs on the floor.

New Rally Classes now offered at 4 Paws Spa & Training Center starting March 15 @ 5:30 PM.
