Glencairn Irishwolfhounds Along with the Harp the Wolfhounds symbolize Ireland. They are the tallest recognized breed. These gentle giants are wonderful companions. They are our family.

We (Jeff & Martha Ann) fell in love with Irish wolfhounds around 1970, before we were married. After a couple of years of seeing them at dog shows and reading about them, in 1973, we were adopted by our by first one. We use terms normally reserved for relationships with humans to describe our relationship with our hounds. We do not think of them as animals or just pets. Yes we have human children,

but the hounds have always been an integral part of our family. So just get used to our foolishness!
