The 21st century began 40 years ago for EPCOT... and here’s our founder and president Garner on that day in 1982 with Disney CEO Donn Tatum in front of the American Adventure. It's incredible how time flies, and how the animatronic dreams of the 22 year old in this photo loomed on the horizon, inspired by this incredible new park. Even now, is a spectacular inspiration to our industry. It remains Walt's optimistic dream, that nothing is outside the reach of imagination, dedication, and cooperation. Here's to 40 more years and many more beyond.
