Do our outdoor and community cats a favor and give your hood a couple of thumps before you get in your vehicle. Cats frequently crawl up into the engine compartment of cars to get warm during severe cold snaps. If the engine starts with the cat inside, it could lead to serious injuries or a painful death.

MEET FREYA:
Freya is a five-year-old spayed long-haired diluted calico with a gorgeous blend of white, gray, and peach fur. Her calm, independent nature is characteristic of Calicos, and while she enjoys her space, she’s also affectionate in her own way. Freya is strictly an indoor cat who has lived with both other cats and dogs, though she has her preferences. She coexists peacefully with the other cat but remains cautious around dogs.
She has not been around young children and is generally wary of men. Freya is up to date on all her vaccinations and, aside from carrying a few extra pounds, is in great health. She recently received a “Lion’s cut” to refresh her lovely coat.
Freya would likely thrive in a quieter home as the only pet, particularly with a woman who can offer her the calm, comfortable environment she loves.

FOUND CAT IN COLUMBUS, MT:

This cat was found approximately two weeks ago in Columbus, just past Rapelje Road off HWY 10. She is friendly and has been taken to the vet for a microchip scan, but no chip was found. She is estimated to be around 9 months to 1 year old. If you have any information, please call (406) 446-3500.

MEET COMET & LILLS:
Comet is a sweet and affectionate cat who gets along well with people, dogs, other cats, and kids. He loves to play and is fully litter box trained.
Lills, his sister, is equally sweet and friendly. She adores people, dogs, other cats, and children, and is also litter box trained. Lills is particularly fond of cuddling.
This adorable brother-sister pair shares a strong, special bond and would thrive if adopted together. Lills is a bit more timid and shy, while her brother, Comet, is adventurous and curious, often guiding her through new experiences. It's one of the best holiday traditions ever! Each year Michelle Mann's third grade class at Mountainview Elementary in Red Lodge raises money to buy food for BHA's food bank program, and this year the kids outdid themselves!
