This cutie patootie is Garrett, an amazing 3 year old boxer mix. 🥰

Garrett was hit by a car and brought to the shelter, but they didn’t have the resources to help him, so we scooped him up! Garrett underwent surgery to repair breaks to his back leg, and is now recovering well! ❤️‍🩹

He is SUCH a sweetie and total laidback lovebug who just loves life. He gets along with other dogs, rides great in the car, and walks well on a leash. He’s also fully crate-trained and kid-friendly. 👏

Garrett still has recovering to do, but he is happy and motivated to please his people! We just know that he is going to be a fantastic family guy very soon.

We promised Garrett that the rest of his life will be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

Yesterday, we posted a plea for blankets. 🥶 Within hours, deliveries were being made and orders placed. You all are incredible.

In a field where human actions sometimes make us lose a little faith in humanity, seeing an army of supporters rally to meet the needs of animals who’ve been let down by people is truly remarkable. Your kindness helps counteract the challenges we face every day, and for that, we’re endlessly grateful. 🐕✨

As we work to expand our space, we’re bringing in a second shipping container for storage. It arrives Friday, and on Monday, we’ll be closing for a major reorganization day. 📦

To maximize this new storage space, we’re in search of heavy-duty garage type shelving. Our favorite unit on Amazon costs about $100, but we welcome other types—including used! If you have one you no longer need, we’d love to put it to good use. 🛠️

UPDATE: Seacrest when to foster with no overnights at our facility! 🎉

Birdie and Seacrest both need a foster! 🏡

Birdie’s adorable litter of pups are weaned, and she is looking for a warm cozy home to hang out in while we search for her forever family! She is crate-trained and working on house training.

Seacrest is on the mend after surgery and ready to be sprung from the walls of the vet! He’s doing great without a lower jaw, successfully lapping up his wet food and water. He needs a foster home to continue to gain weight and strength for his heartworm treatment.

We are in need of new or used blankets to help keep our dogs warm this winter. Some of our favorites are on our Walmart wish list for under $6!

Meet the News Anchors Litter! 📺

This litter was affectionately named after our friends at WIS10 who put on a weekly adoptable dog segment for us. Tune in to WIS TV each Monday at 7:30pm to see FVAR dogs featured on “Primetime Pups!”

These puppies are right around 2 months old, chunky, happy, and SO fun! They were surrendered to us to no fault of their own after their momma (yellow lab) and daddy (grey and white pittie) had an oopsie litter.

They are very sweet and snuggly, love to run and play, and are just the perfect babies. They are a great age to find their forever families and start the good life. Personalities are starting to shine and they are beginning to blossom into what we know will be amazing family dogs! 🐾

We promised these new anchor babies that the rest of their life will be the best of their life. Could that be with you?

📣 New Hours Announcement

Starting Monday, January 13, Final Victory’s facility will be closed to the public every Monday and Thursday.

On these days, there will be no:
- Doggy Day Outs
- Volunteers
- Meet-and-Greets
- Microchip Scans

The facility’s doors will remain locked, but donations can still be dropped off on the pallets by the porch, and our Little Free Pet Food Pantry will remain accessible. 🦴

This change allows our small staff dedicated time for animal training, enrichment, and managing the paperwork and messages that come with our growing rescue.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to balance our mission and growth! 🐾

Thank you for helping us meet the needs of the people and animals we serve. We are SO thankful for the support! 🙌

Today’s greatest need is food for our kittens and adult cats. 🐈

With 30-50+ cats in our care at any given time, most eating two cans a day in addition to dry food, our supplies go QUICKLY.

We are running extremely low right now and are grateful for any and all donations to help fulfill this need.
