URGENT RESCUE UPDATE 🛟
🚨 Trigger warning: Graphic photos and upsetting information. 🚨
Choo Choo, a 1-2-year old female, has endured unimaginable trauma. She was found severely injured, starving, and dehydrated near railroad tracks and brought to a local shelter. It is believed she was hit by a TRAIN—severing her leg and burning off one of her ears. 😩
Without the resources to treat her horrific injuries, the shelter sent out an urgent plea for help. Many of the photos are too graphic to share here, but the sight of her wounds is shocking and heartbreaking, even for our team who has seen so much. 💔
As soon as we heard her story, we rushed to pick her up and take her to the incredible team at Battle Animal Care Clinic. 🏥
Despite her gruesome injuries, including an exposed femur, and the immense pain she must have been in, Choo Choo remained calm, gentle, and sweet. She even took treats delicately by hand, showing incredible resilience and trust.
Choo Choo has received fluids and bloodwork that was so bad she nearly required a blood transfusion. She now faces a life-saving surgery to amputate the remainder of her leg and repair her wounds.
‼️The estimated cost is $7,000‼️
We desperately need your support to fund her treatment. We are determined to help her heal and ensure she has the bright future she deserves, but we need your help to make it happen.
If you’re looking for a meaningful cause to support for an end-of-year tax-deduction, please consider donating to Choo Choo’s care. 🙏 Every dollar helps!

Meet Lucky Dog 🐾
This resilient 5-year-old male black Labrador has overcome a difficult past and is ready for a fresh start and his final victory— a safe, loving forever home.
Lucky Dog unfortunately has endured abuse in his past. Thanks to patience and love, he’s slowly gaining confidence. ❤️🩹 Though he still deals with separation anxiety, he’s both crate and house trained.
🎾 Lucky enjoys chasing tennis balls, though baseballs make him nervous. He also has been known to enjoy wallowing around, rubbing his back on the grass and basking in the sun.
He would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where he can feel safe and continue to build his confidence.
🖤 If you’re looking for a loyal companion and could offer him a loving, calm environment, please apply at finalvictoryrescue.com.
Lucky Dog’s adoption fee is reduced by $100 through the month of November as part of our Black Dog Black Friday special. We are hopeful that, with your help, we will find the perfect match for this handsome, deserving boy soon.
Thank you for sharing his story! 🫶

Michael just picked up Kelly from @columbiaanimalservices and promised her that the rest of her life will be the best of her life. ❤️🩹
Thank you to all who have donated to the rehabilitation of Kelly and the other fragile dogs in our care. We appreciate you making it possible to save them.
Happy birthday, Bri!!! 🧁 Bri is back with us after some time out of state working with bears. 🐻 She is busily getting dog adoption profiles posted and duplicated on Petfinder to all of our northeastern transport locations. 🚐 Bri is the girlfriend of Michael, mom to lots of pets (dogs, cats, bunny, horses, ducks…), and an incredible foster. Besides the ducks, her most recent addition is her dream dog, a rescued St. Bernard puppy! 😍 Working behind the scenes, Bri sees the financial strain we are under. Therefore, her birthday wish is monetary donations for the rescue. Whether it’s a dollar via Venmo or a corporate sponsorship, the financial support is a true gift to our animals and staff. 🫶🎈Venmo: Finalvictoryrescue (charities tab)🎈PayPal: [email protected]🎈Other options: Finalvictoryrescue.com/donate Thank you for celebrating Bri with us + supporting our mission.

This is what it’s all about. 🎉From desperate situations to kennels to couches! This momma named Kitty stole the hearts of our staff in May when she wandered onto a property and had a litter of puppies in the sand beneath some steps. We scooped her sweet family up and cared for them as they grew strong + healthy. ❤️🩹 Kitty is now thriving in her home, known as Juniper or “June” to her loving forever family. She’s reportedly the perfect addition to their family, and is settling in well. She enjoys dog parks and couch cuddles. 🛋️ 🐾 We are grateful to have been a part of her journey to final victory! ➡️ To learn more about our nonprofit rescue or find your new companion, visit finalvictoryrescue.com
