Our Story
Every time you eat, you take a stance on the environment. We take a stance on crickets: a small-footprint, big-nutrition food.
We make it easier for others to take this positive stance, offering free education tools, classes, and resources on backyard cricket farming; providing locally grown crickets for sale; and publishing comprehensive cooking guides such as “The Cricket Cookbook: A Complete Guide to Adding this Sustainable Protein to your Diet.”
In 2015, wanting to find a more sustainable lifestyle, we both quit our international careers and began to search for a project that would make a difference. That search led us to cricket farming. In 2016 we became the first licensed food-grade insect farm in the state of Oregon, USA. In 2017 we published our first eCookbook.
