Dragon Crest Dog Training offers classes in obedience,and tracking. Classes range from beginning to advanced levels, to show prep. Group classes are kept small, only 5 dogs per class, so you get the individual attention you want and deserve. ing. All classes are geared towards having fun while learning with your dog. The trainer, Donna Miceli, has over twenty years of experience training companion dogs. Donna has trained and shown many dogs to titles in both AKC obedience and Schutzhund.

Kinsley is 11 years old and has been wanting a German Shepherd. She has spent the last few years reading about them and about training. She wanted a dog she could do everything with.
A couple of months ago a friend of the family found a black German Shepherd running down their road. No owners showed up and Kinsley got her GSD.
Ash is showing that he is going to be the kind of dog she can do everything with. He has good energy, good food drive, wants to work and is completely bonded to her.

This is Rebel. This was his first time at Tractor Supply and he rocked it. Everything I asked for he gave me.
Outside TSC they are refurbishing the store nextdoor. The workers had a tractor dumping cement and wood into a dumpster. Rebel and I were about 30 feet away and he never looked.

Dragon Crest Dog Training has openings for board and Train. During board and train the dog stays with me for 14 or 28 days. During the 14 day board and train, I work on sit, down, come, stay and heel on leash. I work the dog around distractions, in classes, in public and in stores. The 14 day board and train is $800. During the 28 day board and train, I increase the difficulty of the commands by adding more distractions, duration and distance. Approximately 75 percent of the dogs are started working off leash at end of the 28 days. The 28 day is $1400.

Dragon Crest Dog Training has 3 ways for you and your dog to learn, private classes, advanced group class, and board and train.

Private classes. In Private classes I teach you to teach your dog sit, down, stay, come and heel on leash. The classes can be customized for individual needs and can be scheduled at times that better suit you. I have dogs, horses, sheep and cats when the dog is ready for distractions. I am currently doing private classes at my place in Kerens at a reduced price of $100 for 4 classes. That price is per dog.
Advanced Group Class. The advanced class is for dogs that know sit, down, stay, come and heel on leash. The class works towards working off leash, also getting ready for competition Obedience and rally with some work starting agility and tracking. The class meets Saturdays at 10:00 am and is $10 a class.
Board and Train. During the board and train the dog stays with me for 14 days up to 28 days. I work on sit, down, stay, come and heel on leash. I work the dogs in public, in group classes and in stores. The cost is $800 for 14 days, $1400 for 28 days for one dog.

All breeds of dog, except a very few, were bred to have a job, whether herding, pulling, guarding, retrieving or hunting varmints, etc. When dogs do not get the mental and physical stimulation that they need, destructive behaviors develop. But now there are so many activities and sports you and your dog can learn, your dog can get the stimulation it needs and both of you can have fun at the same time.

And I tell you, he never ever looks at the tv, rarely acknowledges another dog barking on there. Unless it's the bark of a German shepherd, lol."

In the private classes, I teach you to teach your dog. We work on sit, down, come, stay and heel. I can also help with jumping up ,digging, mouthing, etc. I have dogs, cats, sheep and horses for distraction work. The private classes are $100 for 4 classes. The Advanced class adds more difficulty to the commands as well as more distractions. The Advanced class also trains for competition obedience and rally for those that wish to compete.
