You can give a healthy 2026 to thousands of animals: bit.ly/givepfa
2025 was a challenging year for our nonprofit veterinary clinic. But in spite of its challenges, 2025 was also a time for celebration! Just look at this brief snapshot of PFA's impact:
🐶Over 6,400 Spay/Neuter surgeries for dogs
🐱Over 12,433 Spay/Neuter surgeries for cats
* This includes over 3,600 surgeries for homeless cats as part of our Trap-Neuter-Return program
💉Over 330 Special Surgeries like umblicial hernias
🩺Wellness treatments for over 8,500 dogs and 5,300 cats including: vaccines, microchips, flea & tick treatments, and more!

And there will be even more results to tabulate once December is wrapped! Tens of thousands of animals have been set up for a healthy and happy life against cancer, rabies, parasites, and so much more. We are able to help so many animals because of the strength YOU give us as our community!

As we look ahead to 2026, will you remain by our side and contine to support affordable veterinary care? Your charitable gift, in any amount, will provide life-saving TLC to countless animals in your community: bit.ly/givepfa

From everyone at People For Animals: we wish you a very Happy New Year and all the best for the next 365 days! 🎉

All donations made to PFA before the clock strikes midnight on Wednesday, December 31, will be eligible for a 2025 tax deduction!

SUPPORT PFA DURING THE SEASON OF GIVING: bit.ly/givepfa
Momo the kitty is only a few months old and was just adopted by her papa, Sanjeet. One of the first things he did with his new furry family member was bring her to People For Animals for vaccinations and a check-up. Sanjeet reached out to say: “You guys do a fantastic job!”

He wasn’t the only one with a positive review; he let us know that Momo enjoyed her visit too! Donate to PFA and you will be providing affordable vaccines to even more beloved pets in the new year: bit.ly/givepfa

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of partners who wish to remain anonymous, every donation People For Animals receives between TODAY and December 31, 2025, will be matched up to $20,000! No gift is too small and there's no time like the present to give back, as your impact will be DOUBLED and help TWICE as many furry friends!

SUPPORT PFA DURING THE SEASON OF GIVING: bit.ly/givepfa
Buffy and Jayda love their papa, a proud working veteran; even though he had a job, he still struggled with affordable housing and sadly became homeless. Buffy and Jayda entered our Foster care, while we helped their dad, who still insisted on trying to pay for their veterinary expenses. With the help of People For Animals, he now has an apartment to share with his two precious cats, and all three are cuddling together again in their very own home!

The number of people seeking help from our Whole Families Program has more than tripled; previously, two out of ten Program members were living in a car or tent with their pet, but now that number has risen to seven out of ten Program members. To help these families overcome their crises, we place their beloved animal companions in our Foster Homes. PFA provides much-needed vet care, food, supplies, attention, and affection to these pets -- while simultaneously helping their humans navigate difficult social service systems, and finally find assistance. These are long-term challenges: animals are typically in PFA's care for anywhere from 12 to 16 months!

We have more pets in foster care hoping to be reunited with their families soon. Our clinic services like spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and microchips, reach daily capacity. And the cost of providing veterinary care has dramatically spiked by half-a-million dollars. The only way we can uphold our mission of affordable veterinary care is with charitable support. Every donation allows us to reach another vulnerable animal and provide vital relief to their family-in-need.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of partners who wish to remain anonymous, every donation People For Animals receives between TODAY and December 31, 2025, will be matched up to $20,000! SUPPORT PFA DURING THE SEASON OF GIVING: bit.ly/givepfa
This precious 13-year-old teacup poodle weighing just 3.2 pounds is Fiona! Her mother, Deborah, lovingly told us how much this little pup has meant for her, as she dealt with her own health and financial complications. This year, Fiona was afflicted with a gravely-serious medical emergency known as pyometra; it’s a uterine infection that can turn deadly if not treated with an ovariohysterectomy surgery. It’s also an incredibly expensive procedure, typically costing thousands of dollars.

Deborah exhausted her options for vet care, but she was turned away from each one because of her financial circumstances – and Fiona’s time was running out. Relief finally arrived when Deborah connected with People For Animals; we provide this life-saving procedure for a fraction of the cost at a private practice. She brought Fiona to our clinic right away for emergency surgery:

“Fiona was quite sick by the time she got to PFA… I was so scared, I asked if I could stay in the waiting room in case she didn’t make it through surgery, so I could say goodbye. The staff was so nice to me… They told me exactly what was happening and when, and next thing you know, surgery was done and she made it through. PFA doctors saved her life!”

Deborah reached out to PFA to share her deep admiration for our veterinarians:

"PFA is an amazing community resource… We all love our pets, but we don’t always have the resources to cover high vet bills. One small medical emergency of your own can throw your finances into upheaval. Spaying and neutering is of the utmost importance to help stop the overpopulation of unwanted animals, as well as keeping your pets healthy for years to come."

You can keep life-saving spay/neuter surgery affordable for all of NJ's pets with a donation: bit.ly/givepfa

SUPPORT PFA DURING THE SEASON OF GIVING: bit.ly/givepfa
Gianna is a two-year-old Border Collie who has only known life with her dad. When he started having health troubles and needed to enter the hospital for an extended stay, he reached out to People For Animals for help. Gianna is a social butterfly who loves to play and gets along well with children and cats! But the new environment made her nervous; our Foster was kind and gentle to this girl, and helped her work on her potty training. This relief was vital for Gianna and her human, who is now back home with his pup!

SUPPORT PFA DURING THE SEASON OF GIVING: bit.ly/givepfa
Mittens and her mom went through a tumultuous time; after a plan to relocate for a job fell through, mom was left scrambling to find her footing. She was able to find temporary stay with a family member, but there was no place for Mittens. To make matters worse, her other cat Onyx sadly passed away from a heart attack, earlier in the year. Mom found steady work and the plan was for Mittens to only need a short stay in Foster, but it ended up taking her months to find an affordable apartment, and the separation took its toll on the two of them. Thankfully, Mom has finally saved up enough for a new home for her and Mittens together!

SUPPORT PFA DURING THE SEASON OF GIVING: bit.ly/givepfa
People For Animals strongly believes in fostering cooperative relationships with animal welfare groups across New Jersey, and a shining example of that is found in our partnership with Karma Cat Rescue Society! We teamed up across the spring and summer for the next rounds of Snip & Tip for Community Cats. At these events, homeless cats being cared for by their neighbors are able to receive financially-assisted TNR services: spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and ear tippings. In total, we helped 105 felines!

These feral cats were then returned to their familiar, outdoor homes, where they will continue to be looked after by their community - and are now protected against disease and illness. As a bonus, two young kittens were also eligible to be pulled for rescue and adopted to indoor homes! Everyone working together made a tremendously positive impact for each lucky cat.

You can help keep TNR services affordable for all of NJ's stray cats with a donation: bit.ly/givepfa
