Every Saturday morning, bright and early at 7:30am, our dedicated Trainers attend a continuing education class to discuss various topics around dog training and animal behavior. Even the youngest Trainer gets involved! Staying current on training techniques as research evolves ensures that we use the most effective approach to help train your dog.

There comes a time in every handlers life, that the decisions have to be made to ensure that your dog is being given the best. There are so many things that go into this, but the hardest one is knowing when it’s time to say goodbye, as it is inevitable, but this one really hurts.

In loving memory of Wara Leryka, a loyal companion and cherished member of our family. With her proud German Shepherd heritage and gentle spirit, she embodied both strength and grace. For 12 years, she stood by our side, her unwavering loyalty a testament to the bond we shared.

Wara was more than just a pet; she was a confidant, a source of comfort, and a beacon of unconditional love. Whether working or at home, she approached every moment with dedication and devotion, never judging, always accepting.

Her excellent working lines spoke volumes about her intelligence and drive, yet it was her warm, goofy heart and unwavering companionship that truly defined her. Through the highs and lows of life, she remained a steadfast presence, teaching us the true meaning of loyalty and resilience.

Though she may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever live on in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend. Thank you for blessing our lives with your boundless love and companionship.

So this is where we part, my friend, I will always remember well all you’ve taught me and I will go on and I’ll find the strength, until we meet again.

Thank you Lenka Rysová for breeding such an amazing dog and a huge thank you to everyone who worked with us along Wara’s journey. We will forever be indebted to you.

Thank you to my wife, Amanda Larity, and my beautiful daughter, Nora, for everything. This journey with Wara would not have been the same without you. I will never be able to thank you enough.

We will make sure that Spirit is well taken care of as always, just know that she really misses you😢

Searching for a dog trainer? My thoughts….

Clients who are in search of a dog trainer are told by said trainer that they use certain training tools according to the needs of each individual dog and explain the process of proper conditioning and using the tools to be successful in training. We do our due diligence and learn how to use these tools properly through many years of learning and getting our hands on the leashes of many dogs, all with different backgrounds and different mentors.

Then I hear stories of how trainers who only use e collar and “PROMISE” they can ”FIX” your dog in “ONE” session for a couple hundred dollars and often times these trainers are booked solid and have no problem getting clients.

Just STOP! That’s a bunch of BS!

I don’t believe in the word ”fix” I like to say that we will do the best we can to ”modify” the behaviors that are being exhibited. We will never guarantee anything, because that’s just not being honest with our clientele.

If you are willing to put in the work, we are willing to give everything we can to help you be successful. Training takes time and patience!

So please do your research when you are hiring a trainer. You will be thankful you did in the future for you and your dog!
