🍯 Meet Ginger Honey – The Golden Girl of the Lonely Hearts Club

Some dogs are rockstars. Some are comedians. And some—like Ginger Honey—are classy, timeless souls just looking for a cozy place to enjoy their golden years. At around 11 years old and 18 pounds, Ginger Honey has seen a lot in her life. She was adopted years ago, but last year, she was found as a stray and made her way back to us. Now, she’s patiently waiting for a forever home where she can finally rest, relax, and be cherished.

She’s not asking for much—just a quiet home where she can spend her days napping, getting gentle ear rubs, and maybe enjoying a nice sunbeam on the porch. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home, as long as they share her low-key, easygoing vibe. No wild zoomies for this lady—just peaceful companionship.

Her Beatles song? "Let It Be" 🎶—because that’s the wisdom Ginger Honey lives by. She’s been through life’s ups and downs, and now she just wants a soft place to land.

❄️ Meet Justin – The Drama King of the Lonely Hearts Club!

Thinking about adopting a northern breed dog? You better know what you’re in for! Justin is 80 pounds of personality, opinions, and top-tier theatrics. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who will talk back, narrate his day, and make sure you never forget mealtime, Justin is your guy. 🎤

But don’t let the drama fool you—Justin is also a social butterfly. He loves playing with other dogs but is respectful of the older pups in his foster home (he understands that elders deserve their space!). And just to keep things interesting, he’s also a cat cuddler. Yes, you read that right—this big, chatty guy loves snuggling up with his feline friends.

His Beatles song? "Twist and Shout" 🎶—because if Justin wants something, you’re going to hear about it.

🐾Meet AJ – The Quirky, Awkward Sweetheart of the Lonely Hearts Club

Some love stories take time to unfold, and AJ is proof that the best things in life are worth the wait. At 3 years old and 80 pounds of lovable awkwardness, AJ is looking for a special person who understands that his heart is a slow burn. He was adopted as a puppy but returned two years later, and while it took some time for him to trust again, he's been making big strides since coming back to us in May.

AJ is a dog who loves other dogs—so much so that we think he’d do best with a furry friend of his own (yes, AJ needs an emotional support dog 💕). He enjoys walks, routine, and having a patient human who will let him come out of his shell on his own terms. He might be on some anxiety medication (aren't we all?), but with time, love, and consistency, his confidence has been growing every day.

Oh, and at night? This big ol’ boy insists on being the little spoon. 🥹💛

His Beatles song? "Getting Better" 🎶—because since coming back to us, AJ has been slowly but surely blossoming into the dog he was always meant to be.

🎸 Meet Ralph – The OG Member of the Lonely Hearts Club!

If you've been looking for a dog with main-character energy, Ralph is your guy. At 2 years old, this stocky, lovable goofball has been rocking the rescue life for over a year—making him our longest resident pup. But don’t let that fool you—his heart is as big as his paws, even if his squeaky little bark never quite caught up with the rest of him.

Ralph was adopted as a puppy but was returned through no fault of his own. And despite it all, he still loves every person and dog he meets! Whether he’s romping with his foster siblings or making new friends, Ralph is pure joy in dog form.

Rosie is the ultimate free spirit—she loves playing with other dogs, digging the perfect hole, and doing all the best "dog things." She’s got the energy of a rock star and the charm to match. If we had to pick her theme song, it’d definitely be "Here Comes the Sun" —because with Rosie in your life, every day gets a little brighter!

Poor Lucky wasn’t so lucky after all 😭

All of his brothers and sisters (and mom!) have found their forever homes, but Lucky is still waiting. He may be the last one left, but we know the right person is out there to give this sweet pup the love he deserves!

Lucky is 10 weeks old. We think he will be pretty big full grown! His foster says he loves attention and will forget to eat his dinner if that means he gets extra cuddles! He loves playing with other dogs and even started learning how to use the doggy door.

Lucky is full of love, playful energy, and the cutest little puppy eyes that will melt your heart. Let’s help him find the happily ever after that he deserves!

🥊🐾 Punching for Pups was a knockout! 🐾🥊

Big news—Lily, Winton, Powder, and Brownie all found their forever homes at our adoption event at rumbleboxingokc! Turns out, a little sweat and a lot of puppy love go a long way.

Thanks to everyone who came out, threw some punches, and helped us spread the word about animal rescue. You’re all MVPs in our book (Most Valuable Pup-lovers). A HUGE thank you to Rumble Boxing OKC for having our pups and volunteers spend the day at the studio!

Plenty more furry friends are still waiting for their big break, so let’s keep fighting the good fight! 💪🐶

Daisy is a sweet girl who may be shy on first meeting, but give her some treats and some time and she will have all the love to give her humans that she knows she can trust! She loves pets from her people and will rub on your legs or give gentle head bumps for attention. She also loves naps in the sun or on fuzzy blankets - she loves her time near her humans and will always be near. While she is independent and most affection is on her terms, she will make a great companion for someone looking for a furry friend that can be alone during the work day and then greet you for oets once you are home

A devastating fire broke out at Fur Ever Friends Rescue in Choctaw, Oklahoma, leading to the loss of essential supplies and structures. Thankfully, numerous dogs were saved, and the rescue's owner, who suffered smoke inhalation, is otherwise well.

This incident highlights the vulnerability of animal rescues and the critical need for community support. To assist Fur Ever Friends Rescue in rebuilding and continuing their mission, donations of dog food, leashes, collars, cat food, treats, heat blankets, and pads are greatly appreciated.
