Safe Haven Animal Rescue, is a volunteer led non-profit 501(c)(3), saving dogs & cats in Oklahoma. Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Inc.

is a non-profit 501(c)(3), charitable rescue organization dedicated to finding homes for homeless and abandoned cats & dogs. We rescue the majority of our animals from shelters where they are destined to die. Others come from puppy mills or from pet owners who are unable or unwilling to care for their pets any longer. At this time, Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Inc. is limited to finding homes for ani

mals who are being cared for in foster homes. Our cats when available for adoption will be at the Yukon, Midwest City or Norman Petsmart Catteries. Our dogs will be adopted out of foster care.

Mittens is a friendly girl who enjoys the small things in life - naps, lounging in the sun, and watching the world go by from her window perch or fluffy cat bed. Mittens enjoys spending time near her humans and accepts pets on her terms. She enjoys watching feather toys or birds, squirrels, and leaves out the window.

Mittens has the cutest round face with white whiskers - shes a sassy queen who knows her value and can't wait to be spoiled!

Peanut & Lucy: Sidekicks in Snuggles & Mischief 🐾💛

Peanut and Lucy are two sweet friends looking for their forever homes. They⁶ aren’t littermates, but they’ve been fostered together and have become very close.

These two love to play, explore, and snuggle — pretty much everything is more fun when they’re side by side. They can be adopted separately as long as they’ll have another kitty companion in the home, but of course, they’d be thrilled to find a family willing to adopt them together.

‼️URGENT FUNDS NEEDED‼️
‼️$5 Friday‼️

These faces and more are behind the scenes of running a rescue. Kittens fighting severe infections. Orthopedic surgeries to correct broken bones. Eye surgeries to keep off lifelong pain and suffering. Kittens fighting severe malnutrition. Kittens fighting ringworm. All of these faces never would make it out alive without the life-saving treatment provided by our wonderful vet staff and cared for in loving foster homes.

Don't forget the food, litter, dewormer, flea/tick meds to keep our fosters happy and healthy while waiting for their forever homes!

Today we are reaching out to our community on the $5 Friday. For our 29,000 followers if everyone gave even $1 we would be able to pay off our vet bills and provide TLC for all of our fosters.

Birdie is a sweet girl currently waiting at our Midwest City PetSmart for her forever home. She can be a little shy & nervous at first, so a calm and patient home would be ideal—preferably without small children.

She does well with other kitties, but what Birdie really needs is someone understanding who will give her the time and space to build her confidence. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loving kitty who adores being petted and play time with her humans 💕

🚨 URGENT – Maeve Needs a Foster Home! 🚨

Sweet Maeve is heartbreakingly being returned through no fault of her own. Her owner is facing a major family emergency, and Maeve suddenly has nowhere to go. 💔

Maeve is a large mixed breed who’s the total package:
- Crate trained
- Potty trained
- Dog-friendly
- Loves walks, adventures, and exploring with her people
- Just as happy to curl up for a quiet night at home

This is an incredibly URGENT situation. Maeve needs a foster home immediately so she doesn’t end up without a safe place.
