The last Veterinarian we have been using (2 retired during our 30 years), ask Karen if she would like to know the number of dogs they have treated over the years. The number is over 7500, we have been using that vet for 15 years. Hard to remember all the guests, and hopefully they brought lots of happiness to many families.

Pet Resource Network is down to a very few guests. If you adopted a dog through PRN we wish to say thank you for giving a wonder guest a home. It has been 30 years, years are only numbers. We are in the process of giving items away to rescues and animal controls around the area. Soon there will be only memories of the thousands of guests that PRN was happy to be a caretaker for.
Thank all the adopters, may the wags be a blessing.

Pet Resource Network will be slowly coming to an end. We be reducing our dogs and at some point stopping completely. We thank the many people that have taken our dogs in to home and heart. We will continue to post and find homes for our guests for a few more months.
Again Thank You for all the Wonderful Homes that have taken the guests of PRN into the lives. It has been 25+ years of giving wonderful dogs a new family.
Last vet we use totaled the number they treated, 7458 guests.

Many of the guests are retired breeder dogs, occasionally we take in old puppies or puppies with a medical issue. It has happen the we get a breeder that happens to be pregnant, rarely.

Why do we charge an adoption fee? With over 40 dogs the costs are high. PRN only receives money for donations (as adoption fees, etc.). Heated and cooled dog rooms, heated buckets for water in the winter is expensive. Medical on some of the guests has been very high.

Why do dogs adopted for PRN have adoption fees some find high. January 2019 Electric Bill $810, February Electric Bill $620. 3 dog heated rooms, 14 electric water dishes. This is of course, in addition to Veterinary care, medicine and food (lots of food). You want a cheaper fee, try the government tax supported pound.
