Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
Pet Resource Network is a dog rescue that is now over 20th years old. PRN operates on donations, which do not cover all costs. Usually dogs of all sizes are the guests at the 'Farm'. There are several fenced areas for the dogs to enjoy playing. PRN has many older guests that would be a great addition to a home. Guests usually number over 50. So if interested in a nice companion for your family, please call Karen to set up an appointment, 269 694 4703. Please no visits with out an appointment. YES PRN requires an adoption FEE: being non-profit we do not get funds from the government. WE are a private non-profit, any costs not covered by adoption fees come out of the pockets of Karen and Tom.
Many of the guests are retired breeder dogs, occasionally we take in old puppies or puppies with a medical issue. It has happen the we get a breeder that happens to be pregnant, rarely.
Why do we charge an adoption fee? With over 40 dogs the costs are high. PRN only receives money for donations (as adoption fees, etc.). Heated and cooled dog rooms, heated buckets for water in the winter is expensive. Medical on some of the guests has been very high.
Why do dogs adopted for PRN have adoption fees some find high. January 2019 Electric Bill $810, February Electric Bill $620. 3 dog heated rooms, 14 electric water dishes. This is of course, in addition to Veterinary care, medicine and food (lots of food). You want a cheaper fee, try the government tax supported pound.
