Joey (Tri Lakes Humane Society Alum) is asking for help for his dog friends at Tri Lakes!

They have 12 dogs in residence that need new toys and chews:

Beef cheek rolls (large)
L/XL Kongs
Beef Femur Bones
Rawhide Chews
Pigs Ears

Donations can be dropped off to the office and Ruth will bring them to the shelter!

Second, our updated hours are as follows until 7/8/24

Monday- Thursday 8am - 5pm

Friday: No DVM, technician appointments only.

Saturday: 8am-Noon. Dr. Bentley (from Paws and Claws) will be seeing appointments.

We will be closed on the following Saturdays (5/11, 5/18 and 5/25.)

We appreciate your patience during our schedule adjustments.

We are proud to celebrate that we received a new certification that recognizes the culture that we very intentionally work to create at LPAH. We worked hard the past 10 months to earn CLEAR Blueprint Certification. That means that we are now verified by Not One More Vet, Inc. as developing and maintaining a mentally healthy workplace environment that is inclusive and supportive. This supportive work environment equates to happier employees and better client and patient experience. ❤️

Veterinary medicine is a hard field to work in for so many reasons. It was important to the Lake Placid Animal Hospital that we took actionable steps to make our hospital mentally healthy. And now that we’re certified, we’re excited to share this accomplishment!
