Special thanks to Krepline Custom Harvesting for the long hours and great job packing. Thanks to the covering crews on Sunday. Thanks to all the neighbors for being patient while we chopped our corn the past 10 days. Weather allowed us to keep mud off the roads.

With all the heat this summer we are getting into some really nice bmr dairyland cornsilage that was irrigated on well drained field.
Dq5005 Kraig Binversie 5000 HIDF planted with 20 inch rows with pop up and starter. Sprayed with fungicide and side dressed with nitrogen!
The cops are 6-8 ft tall in this area. 13-15 tall corn

Looks like we are at knee high June 24
Corn rows are all closed up on the 20 inch rows and the nitrogen is working!
With all the moisture early there is a concern about shallow roots this year.

Maudiel and Eduard crew are doing an outstanding job raising our black calves to feeders. Really proud of their team. Last night was a nice night to feed calves.

1st crop is on its way. Look like a great crop for everyone. Early this year.
Found some corn coming out of the ground that is a good sign.
Peaceful night tonight no wind and a beautiful sun set, smell of fresh cut hay.
Great night to be outside!

Robinway purchased a 24 row 20 inch Kinze planter this pass year. After many days of learning this new technology downforce, e drives, new software we were able to put in 185 acres yesterday.
Looking forward to see the crops from this machine versus our old one. Our 250 case has pop up and insecticide and this machine is equipped with auto matic row shut off for starter fertilizer. Both seeds and fertilzer have prescriptions for each field based on how much manure a field has or doesn’t also how dry or wet a field is. The machine uses PTO hydraulic so don’t require as much power why we get away with 250 hp
Belt drives allows us plant from 4-12. We like to plant around 6mph. Old planter was 16 row planted 4mph.
Ag leader allows us to auto steer with out using the steering wheel.

Congrats to Gustvo Rodriguez Tantan for 20 years of work at Robinway Dairy Farm. Tantan is hard working, loyal employee, awesome attitude that we all love on the farm. He wears his Robinway hats and jackets very proudly and even drives a car with our logo.
