This handsome dogs owners are trying to find a female Golden Retriever for him to have puppies with. He is my neighbors Golden Retriever that is AKC registered and is Hip/Elbow Certified. Best natured Golden I have ever known....very calm and friendly. They already have so many people interested in his pups if he fathers a litter. Girls just wanna have fun. Macey is recovering from surgery removing a huge cyst (benign thank God!), but she still grabs the empty tp roll to play with me in spite of heavy pain meds.❤️❤️❤️

We bought Miss Peeky two scratch pads today to keep her from clawing chairs. They came with a pkg. of catnip to sprinkle on. After mauling the pads spiked with catnip, she has been passed out like this for 3 hours. Success!!😺

Thank you all so much for your input and helpful suggestions about 3 yr. old Kingsley. He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning. His family is devastated, but they know they will be reunited with him someday.
IMHA is an autoimmune/blood disease that happens so fast. We all need to study this and know the symptoms. Pets must go to vets immediately for diagnosis if symptoms appear. He was such a loving, sweet boy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

At a picnic/horseshoe tournament in Oakley today. Adorable kids petting zoo. The kids loved it and were so kind to all the animals. Maybe the sign helped😆.

Macey's buddy up the street. This guy comes running when he sees Macey and our bag of carrots. One carrot for Macey, five for Goat. They enjoy their time together with carrots😊👍🏻.

Reminder...we going to be getting some more HOT weather coming up for Labor Day weekend. I saw some animals in parked cars during the last cooler week. Please be careful and don't take chances.
Also, regarding hot weather, if you are in the habit the of storing dry petfood in the garage during hot summer months, when the food gets overheated, it can lead to Salmonella poisoning of pets.

And here she is modeling a pair of stylish boxer shorts. Love our Vet! She suggested them for Macey after trying to get this wound to heal on her hip. Note: I just found out NOT to cut all the antibiotic pills at once if half a pill is the dose each time. They lose potency once they are cut. (I always did hers all at once which may be reason for not healing properly!!). Ugh🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Found some beautiful flowers while walking the creek with Macey today. She was a good girl by not racing off to jump in the water. Nine years old and she's finally starting to listen. 😉🐾🐾
