23 years ago we bought our home at 1111. From ShelleynSmokey Smith. Together they raised 4 kids here. Shel had Jen & Lisa and Smokey had Casey & Anthony and they all had eachother. How they met & the family they created together is a story itself!

Thank God they didn’t move far, 5 houses down, because they became my family. For that I’m forever thankful.

When Jenny & Pablo met, it was a true blessing. Our kids have come up together. When I need anything they never fail. Especially Pablo, who made a new bathroom for Ed & fixed my shed roof when I had no money! He’d say ‘I don’t need anything just feed me’. And I would! Never as good as he could create but I’d try! But he’d tell me it was good🩷

When Eddie was determined to fix our boardwalk by himself, Pablo was the first to come see it when he was done. He made Ed feel so proud of himself & was always encouraging him to keep at his dreams.

Jen & Pablo struggled through their daughter’s cancer for years, at great financial expense. Thank God, Melanie is healthy now, but then the Pandemic shut everything down. Tough times for everyone but especially both of their careers. Right after that, another game changer, Shelley had a massive stroke and Jenny & Pabs were who live 5 minutes away were indispensable. And now, the world is upside down. They barely fathom he’s actually gone.

I have never in my life known a family like this. The kids who grew up in my home, are grown, have families of their own, 2 live on the West Coast, and the other in Boston. They have all stepped up trying to organize & manage and support their Sister & nieces. This kind of sudden tragedy is, I don’t have words for it, but everyone is numb and doing their best.

He will watch over us forever I trust completely. But from my deepest heart & soul I’m appealing to all who see this. Please help by sharing Pablo’s story & GoFund Me. But more than that, do some random act kindness like Pablo would. Thank you🙏❤️

This is Calamity. She’s a sweet and lovely 19 year old kitty. She’s been getting visits from us for her subcutaneous fluids while her Mom is traveling for work. Calamity is comfortable and surrounded by family who loves her. And we adore this sweet girl.

Giving fluids & medications at home isn’t always an easy task for pet owners and can have it’s emotional challenges as well. Camp Critter can help if you need us. 💕🐾
