Meet 16 week old Noah (black) and Sarah…brother and sister. They are looking for their forever home! They are so cute and so very, very friendly…cuddly, playful and fun! They have been FIV/FeLV tested negative and have started their shots series. They will be microchipped and spayed/neutered in a couple weeks! They will be ready for their new homes before Christmas.

If you are interested in adopting these two cuties please send a msg telling me a bit of a story about yourself, family, pets, why these two piqued your interest, vet info, etc. Adoption fee is $150 per kitty.

And please remember we can’t do this work without donations…thank you for believing in this little village. 🙏❤️

This past spring, I told you the story about a fellow cat caregiver who was diagnosed with stage 3 re**al cancer. She spent the entire past six months undergoing brutal radiation and chemotherapy treatments only to find out her tumor had only shrunk sixty percent, leading her to now needing further treatment.

When I met Sue two years ago, she told me she worked part-time strictly to pay for the care of the 50+ cats she cares for at home and in various cat colonies… and now with her uncertain future, she will not be going back to work anytime soon.

Today, Sue underwent surgery to have her tumor and appendix removed. There is a bit more, but out of respect for Sue, this is enough to share. She will also now need more chemotherapy. She has many more months of therapy and care… all in the hopes this will give her more time.

On and off during the summer and fall, she would help feed her feral colonies when she could. With the help of friends, she got their shelters redone and set up for winter. And then just a few weeks ago, she found two little three-week-old kittens at one of her colonies. She took them home and saved them from an uncertain fate.

But with her surgery today and an unknown future, I took the two kittens into my care until she can take them back. Hoagie and Piglet are now six weeks old and doing well. Even in her lowest, Sue has been caring for her colonies when she can.

So now, once again, she is worried about money moving forward for cat food and care as she won’t be able to go back to work anytime soon. With all she is going through, I want to help ease that worry a bit and I am hoping you can help.

No donation is too small. I will be giving 100% of the money donated directly to Sue. She didn’t want me to do the first fundraiser and she has no idea I am doing another. But when she gets home from the hospital, I want to be able to ease her mind about money for cat care.

Thank you for reading. In this big old world, one of the best things we can do is care for each other.
Kindness is so rewarding. God bless.

Mistletoe Update! 🎉 We are half way thru Mistletoe’s FIP treatment…Day 42 today and 42 more days to go! Last week on Day 35 I had Mistletoe’s bloodwork done and it’s good! 🎉

Mistletoe weighs almost 9 lbs so her meds have increased for the third time. Her GS meds started at 30 mg and are now up to 48 mg. Since she is eating so well she is gaining weight and that makes me so happy. She will also continue on her Denamarin to help keep her liver healthy.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to help us on the journey. Donations are still needed and appreciated. Thank you all so much for helping us give this sweet girl and chance at a good life. 🙏❤️

To Love a Feral Cat

To so many people a cat isn’t worth a second glance and a feral cat is just a bothersome nuisance worthy of no glance at all. Well I am not one of those people. I see the value in every living soul.

Twelve years ago or more two feral cats came into my care. They had nowhere else to go so I gave them a home. Did they allow me to pet them? No. For years they didn’t even allow me to see them but I loved them just the same. As the years wore on they became more visible but no less feral. I lost Goblin three years ago.

About that same time some of the other cats started picking on Ghost. I moved Ghost to my office to live with two other females. They got along wonderfully. In the past year I made sure to feed canned food in the office twice a day as I could see Ghost aging. A could months ago she had a stroke and I thought it was the end but she rebounded and since September Ghost got canned food three times a day. In the past couple weeks I could see her time was coming to an end and oh how it saddened me. She was my every thought.

Today I let her go to heaven above to be with her sister Goblin. Ghost was so feral up until the end but I loved her so much and spent so much time giving her special attention this past year. At the vet office today I was able to hold her and pet her and give her kisses…none of which I have ever been able to do in all the years she lived with me. I didn’t want the moment to end. I loved her so.

RIP my dear sweet Ghost…please watch over me and guide me as I continue to help the next cat who needs me. 💔❤️

Maybe you could donate in Ghost’s memory so we can continue to help those feral cats others just walk by. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🙏❤️

We are looking for our new home! Meet Noah (black) and Sarah…brother and sister. They are 16 weeks old and looking for their forever home! They are so cute and so very, very friendly! They have started their shots and will be spayed and neutered in a few weeks! If you are looking for some friendly kittens to be home in time for Christmas, Noah and Sarah are for you! ❤️

I will take better photos over the weekend once I have the auction totally packed up and shipped.

If you are interested in these two cuties please send a msg telling me a bit of a story about yourself, family, pets, why these two piqued your interest, vet info, etc. Adoption fee is $150 per kitty.

Anyone recognize these cutie pies? It’s the Amish babies! 🎉 After being so fragile and sickly for what seemed forever Bea, Cora and Augie are now 16 weeks old and thriving! After months of high fevers, diarrhea, lethargy, anorexia and more these babies now eat canned food and dry food, drink water and have solid stools! And they play! I couldn’t be happier! 🙏❤️❤️❤️

At their vet appt today they weighed in at 3.5-3.7 lbs and they had their first distemper and rabies shots. They are now scheduled for their spays/neuter on December 4th.

While I am totally in love with these three I must let them go to their new homes once they are spayed. It’s not fair to them to be forced to continue to live at the orphanage when loving homes are waiting for them. This is why I do what I do right?

Food alone for these three kittens have cost me over $1,000 and that is not an exaggeration. And this is why we must continuously raise money to help the kitties we help. There is never enough money so please remember donations are always needed.

Thank you for all your prayers and love. 🙏❤️
