Dante is a 4.5-year-old Lhasa Apso who’s been through a lot in his short life. He’s a sweet boy about 90% of the time—loving, cuddly, and eager to be part of the family. But he’s also facing some struggles that make life a little harder for him right now.

Since joining his new home, Dante has shown signs of discomfort that sometimes make him reactive. He’s dealing with inflamed glands and some extra weight, which can leave him feeling sore and snappy. He’s also learning how to feel safe around the cats in his home, but occasionally his energy gets the best of him.

What makes Dante special is his resilience. Even with his challenges, he continues to show love, sweetness, and the desire to connect. With patience, structure, and support, there’s hope for Dante to find more balance and comfort in his everyday life.

Franny, a sweet 10-year-old mixed breed (part Shih Tzu), has been with her family for 7 years. She’s loving with people, but her biggest challenge has always been dog aggression on walks.

At just 15 lbs, she’ll lunge, bark, and pull the moment another dog comes into view—making walks stressful and even unsafe for her aging owners.

This week, we started Franny’s Bark Busters training in Brooklyn! Our focus is on reducing reactivity, building calm, and improving leash manners so her family can finally enjoy safe, stress-free walks together. At just 18 weeks old, this handsome Labrador Retriever is full of energy, curiosity, and puppy charm! Frankie’s family welcomed him home only a few hours ago, and they’re starting training right away to set him up for a lifetime of good manners.
