Hello Pawlor family we just wanted to let everyone know about a couple changes we have coming for the summer!! As everyone knows my family comes first and that was the reason I decided to embark on this adventure!! This summer we will be changing our schedule from Tuesday-Saturday to Monday-Friday so that I may have more time for my children’s activities and games!! If you have a prebooked appointment we will still honor that appointment for you!

Starting July 1st some prices will be going up, our small dog base price will be changing from $45.00 to $50.00. Our Full size doodles/large breed haircuts will be starting at $95.00.

Thankyou Wendy & Steve for opening your hearts and your home!

Some days at the Shelter are great. Some days are good. Some days can be challenging. But today is 100% absolutely awesome!!!

We have been searching for a loving home for our Maggie Girl to live out her senior days in comfort and happiness. Many people have shared Maggie’s picture and wished they could help, but the angels who contacted us were Wendy and Steve from Morton. Wendy has great experience from volunteering with a Rescue group in the past and she works from home so Maggie will have lots of companionship. The meet and greet this morning with their dog went well so today we are happy to announce Maggie is officially adopted and headed to her forever home. ❤️ ❤️❤️ to you Maggie, and to Wendy and Steve our thanks. ❤️🐾❤️

Miss Maggie is still at the shelter, HER ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED, this girl is free to the perfect home to love her through her end of life, a home where she could have little to no stairs! She has a lot of trouble moving around and is definitely not going to be around for a long while, but she would just love someone to love her through this ❤️

She’s at the Kewanee shelter if anyone is interested in opening their home to her.
