This WAG (WAG #70) was a whirlwind of activity at the store, and we’re taking you along to see what a busy day really looks like behind the scenes! With packages arriving non-stop, it’s like Christmas every day around here.
This time, we received our brand-new bandanas, a scanner to help merchandise all these deliveries, and some freeze-dried shrimp to stock our deli counter. OB2 and Abbie Girl gave the shrimp a taste test, and let’s just say—they’re obsessed!
Also, OB2 and Abbie girl got to meet their dopplegangers! Abbie’s new friend looked just like her. Ollie B’s did too (plus about 100 lbs).
In addition to the deliveries, Heather was busy getting all our products into the register and displayed around the store. We had a visit from Kelly, our new community outreach and barketing leader, who stopped by to check in. Our graphic design interns wrapped up a major project to help educate our customers, and Lauren swung by to work on some video editing for the channel.

Hey everyone a fun new WAG is up on our YouTube channel. Sniff it out. Today’s vlog marks the exciting conclusion of a three-episode journey as Eric finally finishes up the grid wall!
We now have a fantastic display filled with toys for every kind of dog—big and small, soft and tough, cute and rugged.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! The savory treats for our deli case have arrived, and we couldn’t be happier. With both sweet and savory sides now fully stocked, we’re ready to cater to every canine craving.
The display case looks absolutely incredible, and we can’t wait for Ollie B. and Abbie Girl to give these treats a taste test—stay tuned for their verdict!
And in even more thrilling news, we finally received word from the city on whether our front door awning was approved.
It’s been a long time coming, and Eric experienced quite the emotional rollercoaster when opening that email.
On top of all that, we also hosted 2 tours today, had some adorable furry visitors stop by the store, and welcomed Logan, a local artist, who dropped off some of her amazing artwork that we’ll be featuring forsale in the shop. She also has printed of her incredible original oil paintings.

After a long wait, we have everything we need to hang all the new dog toys we specially picked out when we went to Global Pet Expo! Stay tuned for the fun items we have for our Pack to pick from.For the everyday meal time needs we are filling in what we call, Kibble Korner. It’s super important to offer a nice variety of high end food. Eric also gave a special tour where Ollie B. and Abbie Girl got to make some new friends: Frank, the 13-year-old rockstar, and Diana, the beautiful Blenheim Cavalier. Plus, we had some visitors to the store: Blaze the pup, a new pack member who grew up just up the street from Eric—what a small world! And let’s not forget our new graphic design interns who are helping us transform the store with informative and unique signage. We’re aiming to create a whole new experience and changing what visiting and shopping at a pet shop is all about. The graphic interns are going to help us keep you informed on what you’re feeding your pups.And that’s not all! We got a special delivery today—the neon sign for the dog spa! Hey everyone. Big day here at the store as our long-awaited delivery from the distributor finally arrives, and we’re super excited to share the progress on Kibble Korner! While we still have 20-30% of the order on backorder, we’re thrilled to see the space starting to come together. We’re shaking things up with some fresh merchandising ideas and can’t wait for you to see the transformation!
Equally exciting is the arrival of our new batch of dog cookies for the deli case. They look fantastic and, of course, Eric had to do some quality control—yes, he tasted a few to make sure they’re paw-sitively perfect!

Today was meant to be a big, scratch that, HUGE day—but things didn’t go exactly to plan! We are still eagerly anticipating our first delivery from one of our distributors to merchandise the store. We can’t wait to fill up the whole store with Ollie B. approved products for you guys, but as you’ll see, the day had its twists and turns.
Our store quickly turned into an inside dog park with all the canine visitors stopping by after their historical dog walk tours. It was such a joy to see the pups exploring and enjoying themselves.
On top of that, we received a delivery of dog toys. We already had adorable plush toys for the smaller dogs, and now we have durable rope toys for the big dogs like Abbie. Even though the day didn’t go exactly as planned, it was filled with excitement and lots of wagging tails. Stay tuned for when our delivery comes...

Today was another pawsome day at Oliver Bentley’s! Eric put up a new mirror in the store so our furry friends can check themselves out in their Oliver Bentley’s merch. OB2 had quite an experience with the mirror—whether he was admiring himself or confused by the cavalier staring back, it was adorable to watch!
We also had a special visit from one of our dog food brand reps to educate ourselves and make an informed decision on which Ollie B. approved dog foods we will carry for our local pack members. Stay tuned to find out which delicious and nutritious options make the cut!
The day was made even more special with an evening historical dog walking tour. We were honored to meet 13-year-old Casey, who has been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor. Being part of his bucket list tour and seeing him enjoy sniffing around Savannah with his new friend OB2 was a truly heartwarming experience. We hope we made his day as much as he made ours.

In today’s video, we’re taking a trip down memory lane and reconnecting with some long-time pack members who have been a part of our journey for years. We had the pleasure of welcoming back two special visitors—one who first visited us in 2015 and another from 2011. It was heartwarming to see them meet our new mascot, OB2, after having met OB1 back in the day.
We also received a bittersweet phone call from a cherished pack member informing us of the passing of their beloved dog, Sugar. Sugar enjoyed our treats throughout her entire life, and it was truly an honor to have served her. Here at Oliver Bentley’s, we believe we create more than just treats—we create tail-wagging memories that strengthen the bond between owners and their furry friends.
On a lighter note, we had a productive day getting an order ready for our Whole Foods distributor. We also received some exciting deliveries, including new packaging to help us round out our deli case concept, and a mirror for the dogs to admire their new handkerchiefs.

A huge thank you to our kind neighbor for selling us this piece and working within our budget to help us take another step toward realizing our dream concept for the new store: a Dog Deli!
Of course, no good story is complete without a twist! Eric ended up with the wrong key, but after a brief intermission to get the right one, everything fell into place.
With the help of some amazing new friends & Savannah firefighters, we managed to get the case into the truck and set it up in the store with no problem.
The case was bigger than Eric thought it would be, so there was some reorganizing needed, but it’s finally in place, and we couldn’t be more excited!
A huge thank you to everyone who chipped in to help! We’re incredibly grateful for the support from our community.

Sniff out WAG-62. We started our day with a lively 9am tour, giving our visitors an inside look at what makes Oliver Bentley’s special.
Then, Eric rolled up his sleeves to lend a hand (paw..lol) at Columbia square’s cleanup day. The city keeps the squares in immaculate condition, but it’s a fun tradition for the local residents and businesses to join in the efforts.
Back at the store, we unboxed a fresh shipment of CBD products designed for dog stress relief, straight from our latest pet expo buying trip. Watch as we explore these new additions and discuss their benefits for our furry friends.
We were also thrilled to receive our new recirculating, filtered water bowls. Ollie B. and Abbie Girl gave them a try, although they need a bit of time to get used to this fancy upgrade.
In a surprising twist, Eric discovered the efficiency of using a leaf blower for store cleanup—a game-changer in our daily maintenance routine! Abbie Girl was completely oblivious and slept through most of escapade. She’s the best!!

In today’s jam-packed episode, we embarked on an exciting mission to get a display case that’s key to bringing our pet boutique vision to life.

But we didn’t leave empty-handed! We brought back a new register counter that perfectly complements our upcoming fixture.
The day was full of excitement with two tours and Adele and Lauren for stopping by! We also had a heartwarming meeting with one of our first YouTube subscribers, who has been visiting us for years. Hearing them quote our videos was truly mind-blowing and made our day.

Also, we had a crazy crossover with Ryan, the UPS driver, and Fred, the USPS driver. They may have gotten a little competitive but they shook hands in the end.

Up at 4am and home at 11pm. Why? Because the Pet industries annual premier tradeshow is only 300 miles from Savannah and we have to stock the new store.
What’s better than going to the biggest tradeshow of the year and taking advantage of the “Show Specials”.
Every year the who’s who of the industry gather for three days in the Orlando convention center. We’ve exhibiting there as a brand in the past. This time we’re going as buyers and we’re not messing around. We don’t have three days. We have one day to get our work done!
Eric knows an inside the industry pro who has run multiple high-end dog boutiques. She knows Oliver Bentleys and is excited to act as Eric’s advisor in merchandising the new store and execute his plans.
Big bark out, thank you to Heather for riding shotgun on the journey and working her magic with each vendor we talked to. The vendors didn’t know what hit them. She’s the best buyer/ consultant and we’re so thankful to have her in our pack!
We did our homework. Tradeshows can be the Land of Shiny Objects. It’s easy to get distracted and off track. Not Eric and Heather. They showed up with a plan and with laser Seal Team precision, got in, got out and no one got hurt.. lol
It was a crazy day. It was a long day. It was the most productive day for the company thus far! What we’re bringing in and what we’re building for the locals and visitors to Savannah is going to be soooo cool! Stay tuned to see what they did and what the store is going to offer.
