Gemma with a solid broke find, me with a solid empty blank gun.
Teeter is certain about a couple of things, she loves quail AND that she’s doesn’t want to share.
Her first day tagging along on a hunt. She got to play with a bird her mom pointed (photo in comments ) and got to run through a covey my dog Jax pointed, much too his chagrin.
I got a handful of messages last night about “making my dogs” work. My response was “Make them?” “I let them, they LOVE it!” You can see their enthusiasm to get started, they pull, they bark, they’re very excited. Just a couple of workaholics.
Rogan Steadiness
A beautiful day for dog training in central OK, and I was happy to have a video helper along. Rogan gets better with every rep.
I was going through old photos on my phone today, I found this old video of Jax at about 10-12 weeks pointing a pigeon. He started young and never let up.
New day new pond, bigger entry lol.
Gemma with multiple flushes and shots. She’s on the verge of being trial ready. Only 20 months old.
Poor flying birds really ramp up the pressure. Little bobble and correction on the first flush, good on second. Gemma’s getting there.
Gemma coming over the hill and sticking her bird.
10 weeks old and in my opinion she already has a pretty bold water entry. Sky’s the limit for Lacey.
I have to lock this little freak out while I wash kennels and fill water buckets otherwise we’d both be soaked.
Barry Bollinger is really making progress with Gemma, Barry owns Gemma’s sire Mason.
Gemma tracks her duck down and the chase is on.
Small part of Gemma’s first duck chase/search.
Beck’s first duck, he’s not yet 6 months.
