Meet Polkadog Pup of the Month Schnucki from Austin Animal Center in Austin, TX! 🍀

Who needs a pot of gold when you can adopt this gorgeous boy. 🌈🧡 Schnucki is an 11-month-old bundle of joy who's ready to bring some playful energy and love into your life! This sweet, goofy boy is always ready to share a laugh with anyone around. His playful nature makes him the perfect companion for both humans and other dogs, and he’s never short on fun, whether it’s a game of fetch or just goofing around in the backyard.

Schnucki's characteristics:
✔️ Medium in size; around 46 lbs
✔️ Medium energy level
✔️ Loves people + other dogs!
✔️ Loves toys and playing, but also snuggling!

Schnucki enjoys the company of other dogs and thrives in a positive environment. He is the perfect age to instill good behaviors and training. He’s looking for a forever home where he can run, play, and snuggle up with his new family. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving pup with a goofy personality, Schnucki might just be the perfect match!

**Since there is no adoption fee for Schnucki, we'll make a $500 donation to the AAC in his name if he gets adopted in March!**

Meet the Salmon Sisters (& their pup, Falcon!) 🐶🎣 Based in Homer, Alaska, Emma and Claire come from an Alaskan fishing family that have similar values to Polkadog - sustainability, stewardship, sharing good seafood, and supporting the community.

Meet Polkadog Pup of the Month Gracie from PAWS New England 💘

This awe-inspiring girl is truly a brave survivor with a heartwarming story of courage and perseverance. Gracie spent an incredible 555 days surviving on her own before being successfully trapped by Missing Dogs of MA. She has since started to blossom during her time in a loving foster home, where she’s been given the care, patience, and training to rediscover her confidence and trust in people. 🥰

This special girl thrives in a calm environment where her people understand her need to adjust at her own pace. Her adopters will need patience and understanding that Gracie is not (yet) a pooch that will jump on the couch and cuddle next to you. Given her history, she'll need to be leashed at all times while she's outside (she's quite the escape artist!)

Our sweet Pup of the Month Cleo is still at the shelter, Medfield Animal Shelter. While she's happy to have a clean kennel, cozy blankets and three meals a day, we'd love to see her get adopted this month.

She’s gained some much-needed weight and is no longer full of parasites. We're covering her adoption fee and sending her home with a big bundle of essentials. All that's left to do is take her home. PS. Blue is definitely her color. 💙

Adopt our Pup of the Month, Cleo 💗💗💗

Look at Cleo just 16 days after coming to the shelter! She’s gained some much-needed weight and is no longer full of parasites. Every day she reveals a little more of her playful side which is so rewarding to see. She will be spayed on 1/17 and will be ready for adoption after that.
