Lakeshore Animal Friends Mason County’s oldest Animal Advocacy Group, started 1993, is a non profit IRS 501(c)(3).

Serving Mason County,since 1993, we partner with Animal Control to provide spay/neuter assistance for all dogs and cats adopted from Animal Control and assume care for some needing to be fostered or have medical needs. Volunteers home foster abandoned kittens and cats, offer transportation to the community for cats to low cost spay/neuter clinics. All donations fund spay/neuter, medical, fostering, education and projects that support pets within our community.

Sunscreen is a summer staple, but your pet may have more access to it than you realize.

Pets can ingest human sunscreen by licking it off your skin, nosing through a beach bag, or having it applied directly to their haircoat or skin. Human formulas aren't safe for pets, so if sun protection is needed, look for a pet-safe formula free from zinc oxide and salicylates.

Dean & Dexter are ready for their new forever home.
These 2 are funny and will keep you on your toes. They would fit into a busy family easily. They are great with other cats and kids. We think they will do well with dogs too.
Dean & Dexter are both neutered, up to date on their shots and litter trained.
They are all ready to go to their new home.

Badger and Bootsie are handsome boys who would fill your home with lots of love and entertainment.
They are 2 months old, Neutered, up to date on their shots and litter trained.
We would love for them to stay together, but can be separated if your home has other pets they can play with.

Winky update!!
Winky is doing very well. He is gaining weight, eating on his own now, his upper respiratory infection is all better and Dr Bader checked him over.
His one eye does need to be removed- that will happen once he hits 3 pounds.
His other eye is much better and will be fine.
Winky is a sweet little boy, loves to play and loves to snuggle- a has quite the motor when he’s purring.
Thank you to everyone who donated towards his surgery/recovery. We have the best supporters. ♥️♥️
