Who We Are & What We Do
Sonshine Equine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit therapeutic riding center located in Sussex County Delaware that serves children between the ages of 5-18. The center facilitates the healing of body, mind and soul through Equine Assisted Activity Therapy (EAAT) and the love of Christ.
EAAT is a therapeutic activity that uses the relationship that develops between a human and horse to positively effect the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of the participants whether or not they have special challenges or needs.
