This is Ellie, and she's the cutest little terrier mix(?). Her mom is going to get her DNA tested, just for fun. She's young, 6 months(ish), and has had a rough start. She's so lucky her mom and dad found her. We just met, and will be working on some behaviors this little ball of energy has been exhibiting: easily overstimulated, difficulty settling after arousal, and reactivity to seemingly innocuous stimuli. We'll get her sorted, though, because her mom emailed me shortly after our lesson to give me an exciting update. 🙆♀️🙆♀️ Great job, guys!
Puppy Kindergarten is the best. Who doesn't enjoy watching puppies play and learn. 💛🤗
Team Bella showing off Bella's boots by Muttluks. She's ready to load up and go at anytime, now, because her paws are protected from hot pavement or rough surfaces. Wait until she realizes how much it improves her traction. 😳😄🐕🦺🥾
Emma's mom has worked so hard to make sure Emma is well-trained and will listen to her, even with distractions. Her mom finally felt confident enough with their progress to sign up for group lessons, and they are doing a great job. I'm so happy for these two.
Millie, the goldendoodle, is starting training. One of the first recommendations is to have her work for her meals, so we can provide mental stimulation, and channel some of her undesirable behaviors. Your dog needs both physical and mental workouts.
Omg! 🤗🥰 Watching this just makes you feel good. What could possibly be better than puppy play. 💛💛
Leo is a 12 week old Aussiedoodle. Super smart and sweet. He's not a fan of being alone, so that will be our focus in his lessons. 🥰
Zeus wearing his Sport Thundershirt and working his Kong. Good puppy!
We're giving Loki a break to be a dog for a few minutes during our lesson. He has anxiety issues and it helps to take a break so he can come back and be focused for the rest of the lesson. 😘
Meg has totally come out of her shell. 🙆♀️🙆♀️ This is Meg and Scout at their most recent playdate. 💛
This is what training is for. Wet, muddy days mean wet, muddy dogs. How many times a day can you use "wait"? . . How may times do you walk through a doorway? get in and out of your vehicle? walk up or down the stairs?
Winston's first outing on the Gentle Leader with his mom. 👏 The team is getting the hang of it. Soon they'll progress to the point they won't need continuous reinforcement. 👍
