Bravecto Quantum has been approved for use in dogs in the US. It is not a vaccine! Fluralaner, the active ingredient in Bravecto Quantum, belongs to a class of antiparasitic drugs called isoxazolines. At this time, we will NOT be offering it to our patients, but we will monitor the real world data on it's safety and possibly offer it in the future.

Today the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Bravecto Quantum (fluralaner for extended-release injectable suspension), for use in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older.

Got 2 calls today about the "flea vaccine" today. Bravecto Quantum is an injectable parasiticide that may provide up to a full year of flea and tick protection for dogs, but it is NOT AVAILABLE IN THE US.
