Frigid temperatures are moving in over the next couple of days. These temps will be extremely dangerous to animals left outfoors for extended periods of time.

It is recommended that you only let your pets outdoors for normal potty breaks and short breaks for excercise.

Please be mindful of these frigid temps and keep your pets warm and safe!

Yesterday was a very special day. Mandy and two kittens received their freedom ride, thanks to Finders Keepers Cat Rescue

Mandy has been in the shelter for 132 days!

She came in as a stray and no one came for her. We hope Mandy and the two lucky kittens find their forever family soon. We appreciate all of our supporters and rescue partners.

URGENT: Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will be closed on Friday due to the incoming weather event. Montgomery County anticipates also closing county offices that are open on Saturday. We will be monitoring the weather closely regarding our hours and possible closure for Saturday as well.

NON-EMERGENCY
If you have a non-emergency animal related question, please email us at [email protected] Lost and found animals can be reported to www.mcgtn.org/animal-control . Replies to those emails may be delayed. We will get to them as soon as we can.

Please refrain from using the after-hours number for non-emergency animal related issues.

EMERGENCY
