What a fun day at Greenbrier Elementary School yesterday. Gunner and I arrived first. Then Diana, Moses and Tater arrived and we all visited with the children, teachers and staff. We all could spend every day with the children.

Papa and I went to Charlotte last week to try to be a HOPE AACR team. We had one day of screening and 3 days of intense training which included being with Papa all day long mostly under a table, went to a restaurant for dinner, to a fire station, and to an airport. There were 10 of us trying to be crisis response teams and we all made it. Papa and I are pretty tired but really proud that we could do what it takes to be certified. We will be ready to deploy once we get Papa’s green shirt and badge. We don’t want there to be a disaster but if there is one we will do what we can to make people feel better.

We had a fun visit at the airport Monday. Was not able to post pictures because we still did not have internet due to Helene and no time to drive to a location with internet. Rhett and I worked pretty hard and then Tater joined us.

Papa wanted to show Mama what I was doing in the scent work class yesterday. He is going to get matching boxes. They were not sure if I just knew the box they were putting the treats in or if it was the smell. I showed them when we did other articles. I had a lot of fun and will definitely like this training. What puppy wouldn’t like to find treats?
