Hi, I’m Lilly! 💕 I may be young, but I’ve already survived something unthinkable — a gunshot wound to my jaw. Thanks to incredible vets and lots of love, I had surgery and am healing beautifully.

I’m sweet, cuddly, and adore people. If you sit down, I’ll be right there for pets and kisses! I love going for walks and exploring by your side. I just ask to be your one and only dog — I like soaking up all the love myself.

I haven’t let my past break my spirit. I’m ready to start a joyful new chapter with someone who sees how special I am. 🐾

Hi, I’m Mackeral — a gentle, shy pup learning how to feel safe after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Life was loud and overwhelming before, but now I’m discovering peace, sunshine, and soft voices.

I’m still finding my confidence and would love a calm home where I can take things slow. I’m not housebroken yet and don’t know how to walk on a leash, but I’m great with other dogs and kind at the vet.

In Remberance of Rio 🌈 from adopter Robyn Nivens.

"My precious Rio has crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love. Five years ago, I had the privilege of rescuing him, a senior at the time, who had lost his original owner. Despite his severe dental issues, which required the removal of his teeth he still thrived and found a way around it. His unique appearance only added to his charm, and he continued to enjoy his soft food. Every night, he slept beside me, a constant reminder of the power of love. I feel grateful for the five years we shared, and his peaceful passing in my arms will forever be in my memory. We will always love you Rio until we meet again.

Thank you Danny & Ron's Rescue --- Rio was a Godsend and so blessed that I got 5 yrs with him. Just wanted to say keep doing what y'all are doing because he blessed me more than I could ever bless him. Thank you"

📍 (Camden, SC) Hi, I’m Anchovy — a shy little guy learning how to trust after being rescued from a tough hoarding situation. Life was overwhelming, but thanks to Danny & Ron’s Rescue, I finally feel safe and cared for.

I’m slowly coming out of my shell. I’m not leash-trained yet and still working on house training, but I’m great with other dogs, gentle kids, and I do well at the vet. I love quiet time outside and need a calm, patient home where I can keep learning at my own pace.

(📍 Camden, SC ) Hi! I’m Bella, a fluffy Pomeranian puppy with a whole lot of love (and personality) to give. I came to Danny & Ron’s Rescue after getting really sick with Parvovirus. My former family cared about me deeply but couldn’t afford the treatment I needed—so the rescue stepped in and gave me a second chance. 💕

Now I’m healthy, happy, and ready to find a forever home! I love to play, bounce around with my toys, and snuggle up for kisses and belly rubs. Life is good—and I’m ready to share all this joy with someone special.

🩺 MEDICAL: I’ll need a booster round of vaccines on 6/17 and will be ready for adoption shortly after.

✂️ SPAY/NEUTER: My adopter will be financially responsible for spaying me at 6 months of age and must provide proof to the rescue once it’s complete.

💛 A HAPPY TAIL WE JUST HAVE TO SHARE 💛

Yesterday, something truly heartwarming happened here at Danny & Ron’s Rescue. 🐾

While one of our Doghouse team members was outside of Kershaw County Humane Society, a kind stranger pulled up holding a little dog she had just found wandering in the middle of the road. This sweet pup — Lucky (and indeed he was!) — had slipped away from his owner while she was at a nearby gas station. Scared, alone, and far from home, Lucky was in need of some good fortune.

Thanks to quick thinking, a social media post, and the amazing power of our community, we were able to track down Lucky’s owner and reunite them the very next day! 💕 The joy, the tail wags, the tears — pure magic.

Rescue isn’t always just about finding new homes — sometimes it’s about bringing families back together.

✨ Friendly reminder: Please make sure your pets have ID tags with your phone number AND are microchipped (with up-to-date contact info!). Accidents happen in a blink, but a simple ID can make all the difference in bringing a lost pet home quickly and safely.

Sweet Chipmunk has found his forever home with Kimberly Killebrew and his new fur sister Isabella! 💛

This brave little Chihuahua came to us heartworm positive, but with love, care, and determination, he made it through treatment like a champ. Now, he's off to enjoy a new chapter filled with snuggles, safety, and second chances.
