Most everyone has a name and is vaccinated, neutered, seen by a vet when sick, and stay healthy in general. MonkeyTree Farm is a safe place for Kitties to live happy, cage free lifes. Here on our 14 acres of family owned land in Greenville, Alabama, MTF is the home of a colony of the most beautiful and sweetest Kats, they are not feral. From the time they are born they are handled and loved on. Th
ese fur babies crave the attention people can give. They love being cuddled and getting pets. As of the last head count we had little over 100 Kats that call MTF home, there are some little babies that were not named or numbered yet. We are creating a life where no one has to go hungry or suffer through the elements without shelter. On an average day we go through about 20-25 pounds of dry cat food and a little under 35 pounds of litter. Just those items cost about $40/day. We are asking for donations to buy food and litter. Now that winter is coming it gets really cold here. The Kat house gives them good shelter but does need a little more work. They need couple more heat lamps and bulbs to keep warm. Donations of bedding material to cover the ground and hold in heat would be great, like straw or wood shavings, to hold in heat. We are working on getting a want list together for donations. That way everyone can easily see what we need, like an Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, and asking local businesses if they provide registries or wish lists. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)3 so we can hopefully get a grant but, there are things that they need and can’t wait till that grant money comes through, assuming we qualify. Thank you for your support,
