I’m trying to clean my refrigerator and having a puppy underfoot doesn’t work for that. Since I’m busy I put her in her pen but felt bad she had to be contained so long. So I set up the playroom again. She whined for a couple minutes after I left and then dove in and started entertaining herself 😀👏👏

The other day I needed some carrots for something I was making. So as I do in the winter time (okay, it's not officially winter yet but once the time changes and it's gets cold and snowy, I count that as "winter") I went out to the garden to dig up some carrots. And guess

We had another farewell a while ago that I haven't shared about. Quinn finally went to her new home with my good friend. My friend had moved away over a year ago, and she was clear back in the south! So we'd been trying to figure out how to get Quinn to her new home.

Little Coco is a bundle of energy! Not all the time of course. She is a typical puppy; full of energy and mischief one minute, crashed out sleeping or cuddling in my lap the next. It's like having a toddler. *wink So I thought I'd bring Indy inside for a little playtime with mom! At

Some morning I like to take a walk around the neighborhood. Cajsa is usually my walking partner. The last time we went I deiced to take Coco too in the puppy sling. At this age I still don't want to walk her around our neighborhood. Granted, we don't have stray dogs that can leave disease

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We did, and then took a couple days off social media. We went to our kids house and visited the new grand baby and spent time with our DIL's family on Thanksgiving. There was lots of good company and yummy food. We decided to spend the night

So much to be thankful for!❤️ what are you thankful for?

Today on thanksgiving I just want to say how thankful I am for so many blessing! Our family, our new little grandson, our precious dogs that let us work from home and share their sweet puppies with so many families through the years, and for you our Pinewood families! And so many more things. What

Hubby and I headed off to town again yesterday. This time it was to drop off my tires to get new ones put on. Yep, he took the wheels of the truck and we hauled them in, in the back of the other truck. Walmart tire shop was so booked up (*note to hubby, order

Piggybacking off Friday's post about our two retiring girls, I'm thinking about the future. And you know me, I give you the whole picture and probably share too much sometimes. *insert cheesy grin* We are getting down in the number of moms we have had in past years. As I've mentioned before if we ke...

Yesterday Coco went to church. Well she didn't actually sit through the service or anything. ;) But I loaded her up in her crate and drove to church (the litter box was in the back) to do some socializing. She got some crate practice while I went to church. She had a snuggling blanket and

So the reason Coco and I went to town (beside the socialization) was Miss Sky and her daughter Miss Summer went to the vet that morning (hubby dropped them off early) and I was picking them up in the afternoon. Sky retired a while back, but I had yet to get her spayed. So she

Coco and I made a trip to town the other day. Running errands with a puppy is a bit more time consuming, but it's a great excuse to socialize her. She rode in a smaller crate up front with me. I'll show you why in a minute I try to give my puppy families some

I'm sitting here at my desk listening to the water drip off the eves, snow covering the ground and thinking that just a few days ago the sun had been out and it still seemed like fall. The dogs had a nice time outside enjoying the sun and fresh air. Even the chickens got to

Our Story

Our happy, healthy puppies are born and raised in our Pacific NW home with lots of love and attention! Much thought and care goes into the dream of producing each puppy as we start by physically health testing our adults (eyes, hearts and patellas) and running genetic testing on each dog also so we know what’s on the inside and can make the perfect parent match-making! Once each much anticipated litter arrives (born in our living room) the babies go through Early Neurological Stimulation from day three to sixteen and are then raised with lots of interaction, stimulation, and new adventures for a good foundation before they head to their new forever homes between 8-9 weeks of age. We have been learning about the Puppy Culture way of raising puppies and are trying to implement some of their wisdom into our puppy raising program. Puppies go through our de-worming program, have a thorough exam by our veterinarian, a stool sample checked, are started on age appropriate puppy vaccinations and litter box training for your convenience before they leave here! Each puppy goes home with a puppy packet of information, health record, health guarantee, food sample, toy, baby blanket (with familiar scent) and our on- going support once you get your puppy home.
