🌱 Discover the magic of straw bale raised bed gardens! 🌾

Why are they awesome?

🔹 Easy to Build – Just like LEGO, these gardens are plug-and-play!
🔹 Pest-Resistant – Line with hardware cloth to keep gophers out.
🔹 Customizable – Scale the length to suit your space and needs.
🔹 Eco-Friendly – The straw edges support worms, enriching the soil with their castings.
🔹 Season Extending – Add hoops + covers to grow nearly year-round.
🔹 Accessible – Raised height means easy, ergonomic gardening for all ages.
🔹 Chem-Free is Key – Always seek straw that hasn’t been treated with persistent herbicides (like aminopyralid or clopyralid), which can destroy soil life and harm your plants.

👉 Build soil, grow food, and regenerate the land — one bale at a time.

Today we are planting the first Miyawaki Method Pocket Forest in Mexico! New Mexico is next!

This forest will be planted at the Technological University of Nezahualcóyotl. 🌿 In an area with few green spaces, it will be a key step toward regenerating the environment and promoting environmental education in the community.

This state of being described below is frequently accessed when you practice traditional tracking, survival and agri-culture skills. You can really enter that deep meditative and flow state.

“Learner absorption in education refers to a state of deep engagement, focus, and involvement in the learning process. When a learner is absorbed, they are fully immersed in the material, experiencing minimal distractions and often losing track of time. This state is associated with high levels of intrinsic motivation, enjoyment, and effective knowledge retention.

Absorption is a key element of deep learning, where students go beyond surface-level memorization to develop a thorough understanding of concepts. It is influenced by factors such as:
• Interest and Relevance: When learning materials are meaningful and personally relevant.
• Active Engagement: Hands-on activities, problem-solving, and real-world applications.
• Flow State: A balance between challenge and skill level that keeps learners motivated.
• Minimal Distractions: A conducive learning environment free from interruptions.
• Intrinsic Motivation: A natural curiosity and internal drive to learn.

Educators can enhance learner absorption by using interactive teaching strategies, storytelling, gamification, and personalized learning approaches.”
