We strive to rescue, medically rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned Boxers, as well as providing education to pet owners. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into

their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist Boxers in distress without regard to age, condition or ease of placement.

This week’s Senior Sunday belongs to Dobby.⁣

If you’ve ever wondered what quiet strength looks like, it looks a lot like Dobby.⁣
⁣
He’s seven, rescued from a shelter, and battling heartworms that have reached his lungs. The vet says there’s still hope — with time, care, and about $4,000 in treatment.⁣
⁣
But Dobby doesn’t know any of that.⁣
He just knows love.⁣
He knows the safety of his foster mom’s arms, the comfort of curling up next to his fur sister, and the joy of those long walks that make his tail wag like crazy.⁣
⁣
We’re not sharing this to ask for anything — just to honor him.⁣
⁣
For the way he shows up every day with softness and strength.⁣
⁣
For reminding us that even the ones who’ve been through the hardest things still have so much light to give.⁣

💸 We’re Gonna Be Real With You…⁣

Rescue life is tough right now.⁣
Many rescues are closing their doors, and others have stopped taking in dogs altogether — which doesn’t bode well for the beautiful souls still out there needing help. 💔⁣
⁣
We’re doing everything we can to keep saying yes… but our rescue wallet? Empty. Our vet bills? Piling up fast.⁣
⁣
Each puppy in our care (17 little souls) needs multiple vet visits — $60–$120 each. That’s 3–4 rounds of vaccines (lepto, distemper, parvo), deworming, microchips when old enough, and sometimes extra meds for GI infections like coccidia or cryptosporidium.⁣
⁣
And because our vets don’t offer litter rates, every single visit adds up.⁣
⁣
So here’s where we’re at ⤵️⁣
We launched a fun “Name That Pup” raffle to help cover vet costs — $5 per entry, and a few lucky winners get to name a rescue puppy! 🐶💖⁣
