With its roots established in early 2016, Quantico Sporthorses is still in the early stages of writing its history though operates with a clear direction. Co-founders Quinnten Alston and Jonathan Clark, both with professional backgrounds within the equestrian industry, began the program's venture towards breeding, raising and developing the modern sporthorse with the lease of the mare Royal Celest

e FH in February 2016. With Quantico, the mare won her Three-Year Old fillies class and was also Champion Filly, Champion Young Horse, and qualified for the Grand Championship that year at Dressage at Devon. The first foal for the Quantico program was her 2017 filly Fabienne QC (s. Franziskus), Top Filly as a foal at Hilltop Farm's AHS inspection and most recently named the highest scoring Hanoverian mare in the nation for the year 2020. Since inception, each of our foal crops has produced either Premium, Gold Medal, or Top Foal designations at inspections. Quantico continues to breed for the future with its current broodmare band: Bari von Buedingen Memorial Trophy recipient Laurette, Dressage at Devon Mare and Mature Horse Champion HPMC Scantolina, and the Special Premium and Elite Stute Rhosemary.

Fujita QC (Franklin x Londonderry x Wolkentanz I c**t) was named a Gold Medal foal by AHS last week with comments that included "exquisite type, very correct, all the movement uphill, so much swing and elasticity, stunning." Really looking forward to this c**t's future. The first sibling is under saddle and is a top horse.

Frida Kahlo QC (Franklin x Rosentanz x Fürst Heinrich x Velten Third) was named a Gold Medal Foal in 2020 and now as a four-year-old is an overall 8 mare with the American Hanoverian Society. Her individual scores included 9s for head and typiness and femininity and 8s for neck, saddle position, frame, conformation, trot, walk, and overall impression. We are very proud. Bred, raised, and presented by us.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

It was a beautiful day for our American Hanoverian Society inspection this past Tuesday. Thanks to Rick Toering and the rest of the AHS team for fitting us in and being great to work with, as always. We presented a mare and a foal, both by Franklin, and happy to say he is still producing good horses for us. Frida Kahlo QC (out of SP/El. Rhosemary by Rosentanz) scored an overall 8 on inspection with mostly 9s and 8s. This is the third mare we have presented to AHS for an overall score of 8 or above! Our only foal this year, Fujita QC (out of Laurette by Londonderry) was named a Gold Medal foal. He is for sure one of the best we have bred. Thanks to the always wonderful Becky Smoker for helping in the barn and getting video, and to Horse Designs for the incredible photos.

One of our foundation mares, the special Laurette (Londonderry x Wolkentanz I x Argentan). She was the highest scoring Hanoverian mare in the country in 2018 with an overall 8.16 and has given us four super c**ts by Secret, Gørklintgårds Shaolin, Franziskus, and now Franklin. We did not rebreed her for next year, but will get started early in 2025. Still hoping for a filly!

Special Premium and Elite Stute Rhosemary (Rosentanz x Fürst Heinrich) is in foal to the Perlino Section D Welsh Cob stallion Quillane Accolade for May 2025. Accolade has been successful to 2nd level and is currently schooling at 3rd, while Rhosemary has an extensive record in production including being the dam of Champion Filly and Reserve Champion Young Horse at Dressage at Devon Frida Kahlo QC. This foal will be dilute, a fun first for our program.

Overall 8 at her AHS mare inspection, Bari von Buedingen Memorial Trophy recipient, all gait scores above 8 at her mare performance test, and good placings at Dressage at Devon. "Fiji" (Franziskus FRH x Royal Classic) was just confirmed in foal with heartbeat to Monterey for our first 3rd generation foal!
