Something BIG is coming to The ABMA.....and yes, we are labeling it as Exciting, Amazing and Enjoyable because it’s all for you!

The ABMA is proud to announce a new members community- the ABMA Community. This engaging platform will allow members to connect, share and learn in one, safe place. We are thrilled to provide greater networking capabilities, more member benefits, better access to the board and committee chairs, and countless ways to enhance your behavior management goals. Once we unveil this community, on your next login to the ABMA website you will be prompted to change your password. We know it’s inconvenient but it was a necessity to make this transition as seamless as possible not only for you, but for us behind-the-scenes.

Check your emails and social media accounts for communications from the ABMA in the coming weeks. A countdown will soon commence! Be sure that the email address [email protected] is in your safe senders list and that you like us on Facebook to get all the updated info.

We are so excited to share this new community with you and look forward to connecting with you in a whole new way very soon!

As a respected member of the veterinary community, Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists has cultivated lasting partnerships with other world-renowned institutions, such as The Houston Zoo, Moody Gardens, and numerous educational institutions across the country.

Today we bring you Murphy, a lovable and well-behaved Komodo Dragon from Moody Gardens.

Murphy is an adult female Komodo dragon that has called Moody Gardens home for the last 11 years. Murphy was taken to Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists for additional diagnostic imaging, In this case, a CT scan. The vet team determined surgery was warranted for Murphy while at GCVS.

During her recovery, the Moody Gardens Animal Care and Veterinarian Team continue to work with the GCVS Team to ensure Murphy receives the best post-operative care.

Collaborations like this are what make GCVS Houston's Veterinary Medical Center.
