Be able to drive a gator and lift loads.
Must be comfortable around horses but no experience necessary. Room for advancement to horse care if right candidate!

Horse Care
Part or Full time
Feed, water, turn in and out, and basic horse care needs.
Must have horse experience! This is a great resume builder for someone looking to work in the equine industry!

Pony Club is returning this fall! This is based on the International Pony Club curriculum and affords the rider the opportunity to earn badges and work towards competency levels in riding and horse care. Pony club will meet twice a month on Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 5pm. This is for ages 7 up through teens. September and October 2024 dates are Sept. 8, Sept.22, Oct.6, and Oct. 20. For the safety of our horses all lessons are cancelled this week due to heat index!

Because of the high temps and heat index and the fact that our lesson horses are older and dont breathe well exercising in high heat indexes we are not having camp tomorrow. However, we are adding a camp day next week . We will have camp on Wednesday the 26th and Friday the 28th. Please let me know which ones you will be attending. Our charcuterie board night was so fun, look what everyone came up with!

Congratulations to our rider and boarder Lillah Malone for graduating middle school, she also plays for a national volleyball team for rise volleyball academy and plays travel softball for rebels fast pitch. She was also in superior honor roll. We are so proud of you Lillah!

We are accepting riders for our June Day camps! We accept riders of all levels, no experience necessary. This is open to ages 7+. They will learn horse care, riding, arts and crafts, and make lifelong friends!

Congratulations to Marissa for her graduation from high school. Marissa has been a lesson student for many years at Mountain Meadows and has assisted in horse care and as a ring assistant. She has had many different mounts during her years here and is pictured with Ziggy, an Irish sport horse ,with whom she jumps. It's on to college at Fairmont State and then Veterinary school. We wish you the best,Marissa, and are thrilled you will be close by for a few more years!

Congratulations to Colton for graduating from middle school and receiving the outstanding math award, principal's award, and attendance award. Colton takes western riding lessons here and has helped with stall cleaning and as a arena aide. Way to go Colton!

A huge congratulations to Emma! Emma is a long time rider at MMEC pictured with her pony Jarrod. Today she had her 8th grade recognition. Emma demonstrates compassion, empathy, and great work ethic. And most importantly she loves her pony! We are SO proud of you Emma and can’t wait to see the bright future you have ahead of you in your riding and life! 🦄👏🏽
