Because of the Autoimmune Hemolytic anemia that Adam has been diagnosed with, we have had to transition him off of the standard pain reliever medication that he was on. This means that while we get that out of his system, for his safety, the pain in his joints has increased. Here's a short clip from when his foster took him outside to go potty.

If your pup loves to run or chase objects, chances are they’ll have a blast on our lure courses! Don’t worry, we will have fenced in areas to ensure your pup doesn’t go far!

YMCA Camp Minikani is the new venue for this year’s Mutt Strut! Here’s a SNEAK PEEK of the walk route. Register today and you’ll be in for a treat with Minikani’s scenic views and wide open spaces. Your pup will enjoy playing games and running our lure course while their human counterparts can shop at the vendors, food trucks, and try their hand at winning our wonderful raffle baskets.
The Mutt Strut is JR’s biggest annual fundraiser and your registrations and donations go to supporting our mission in caring for the animals we rescue. Please join us on June 3rd for a fun-filled day celebrating JR’s! Register by Friday noon to guarantee your shirt size.
