STAY: to live in a place as a guest for a short period of time
At Moon Doggies, your pet will experience a true "home away from home" STAY. Our pet cabins are cozy and all unique to fit your pet's needs. A spacious suite is a favorite among our families of dogs.
We spend as much time as possible interacting with your pets through play, walks and snuggles. They even take turns helping us out while we do daily chores. We believe in creating a safe, calm environment where they can begin to trust us. Repeat guests are happy to see us at check-in!
We accommodate all dietary needs, including food that needs refrigeration or warming, specific feeding times, and supplements and medications. We encourage bringing blankets or bedding that smells like home, and we offer cots as well. Soft music and podcasts are played throughout the day, and occasionally our children tell bedtime stories.
While we do use cleaning supplies designed specifically for boarding facilities for the safety and health of your pets, we also recognize that natural solutions work best for some cleaning jobs and we are proud to support our business neighbor, Amy's Green Cleaning, to lessen chemical exposure as much as possible.
Exercise and enrichment are a big part of our day. On leash walks, scent tracking and wildlife watching are the highlights. Stopping to chat with neighbors is also great fun. Socializing with other guests in the play yard is an option that can be discussed during check-in (stay tuned for PLAY post).
It is our responsibility and pleasure to recognize that every pet's needs are different, and it is our goal to give your pet all the love and care you could ask for while they're away from you.
