The City Dog Country Dog team is passionate about our mission: to enrich the lives of dogs and their human families through cutting-edge, client-centered quality of life, training and behavior solutions. We strive to be dog-wise and people-friendly, approach each training challenge with enthusiasm and professional excellence, and provide positive, mutually beneficial learning experiences for dogs and people alike. Sharing Sunday:
we, of course, love our own dogs and are eager to share photos of our canine companions with you whether they are strutting their stuff in the city or frolicking on the beach or in the woods in the country

Mindful Monday:
we start off the work week with some articles about the cognitive, intellectual and emotional capacities of man and woman's best friend. So on Mondays we post articles about what researchers have learned about the minds of these social creatures. We encourage you to provide feedback in the comments section and to share these articles with your network of friends. With that said, we have designated the following days for specific posts relevant to different themes

Target Tuesday:
we are all about teaching people the most positive and progressive dog training methods. So Tuesdays are dedicated to posts specifically about training tactics that produce measureable results. Call of the Wild Weds:
we train and socialize dogs to live well in the human world, and we also love to promote ways of letting dogs just be dogs! On Wednesdays we celebrate the wild in our dogs, with posts about the natural history and biology of wild canids and domestic dogs, and differences and commonalities between them. Throwback Thursday:
Today we pay tribute to those dogs we've loved and lost and to old photos of our current companions. Please feel free to share photos of your canine family members past and present and we will, too. Funny Friday:
Friday is dedicated to fun! We’ll post news items, comics, cartoons, silly dog stories and encourage you to share yours, too. Dog Savvy Saturday:
Saturday we post articles and/or commentary from our staff concerning the latest news on products and services that help facilitate better relations between ourselves and our furry family members. If there is something you are aware of and would like to share, this would be a great time to do it. Although we will do our best to adhere to our schedule, on occasion and intermittently, we may post items that may be less loosely tied to the theme and we encourage you to post any dog friendly items (e.g., photos, articles, stories, etc.) Thanks - TEAM CDCD
