Arabian horse registrations peaked in 1985 at 35,000. In 2022 registrations were approximately 2,800 a decline of over 90% returning to numbers not seen since the early 1960s.

The purpose of the proposed Restructuring Resolution is to provide a modern structure for AHA equipping and enabling it to be strategic and nimble in order to reverse the downward trends in membership and registrations.
