Hi Happy Family! As a nonprofit, all of our funding comes from private donors, like YOU!

If you've visited us, you know I work hard to raise as many funds through tours as possible. However, some months can be harder than others with vet bills, unexpected repairs, etc.

I've decided to start a monthly feed fundraiser to lighten the load. I would be incredibly grateful for your contribution.

Every month, we order 40 bales of Bermuda and 1 bale of Timothy/Orchard. The total for November hay is $950.

Just 15 minutes east of Escondido lies Happy Heart Haven, a cozy animal rescue home to 59 rescued animals. We’re a nonprofit with pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, horses, cows, dogs, cats, and even a tortoise! We’re open by appointment Friday through Sunday for visitors to connect with our animals. Experiences start at just $10, so there’s something for everyone. As a nonprofit, every contribution helps us care for these amazing animals. Hi all, Cristi here! I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has made this dream a reality. 5 years FLEW BY. When we opened in July of 2020, I was living on unemployment (furlough due to covid) and a dream. But, look at us now!

I had visions of having a 5 year anniversary party, but sanctuary life happened, Billy passed. Parties come and go, but these animals imprint on my heart forever. I love them all like children. I see the impact they make on visitors, and I know that this work is important.

You see, in the hustle and bustle of life, we tend to live in the future. When we're with animals, we get to live in the present. When you're snuggled up with a sheep, you're not thinking of your next cell phone bill, you're thinking... "I can't believe I'm cuddling a sheep!" And that is a gift. Animals are a gift. You are a gift to the animals. It is the connection that is the best part. Visitors can tell how much the animals love connecting with people.

So, thank you for taking a chance and visiting a neighborhood farm in North East San Diego. I'm grateful for your contribution. ❤️
