🥁Introducing…..🥁

MAMBA, COTTON, and COPPER! 🐈🐈🐈

These three siblings arrived at Off the Rocks last week after a thrilling adventure all the way from St. Thomas! 🏝️

Since their arrival, the three have been discovering the joys of Off the Rocks - climbing plush cactuses, befriending volunteers, and sleeping the day away (lucky ducks!) 😅

It has been such a joy getting to see their unique personalities blossom - Copper is a crazy but cuddly little rascal, Cotton is snuggly and curious (definitely the boldest of the bunch), and miss Mamba is sweet and gentle…but for sure a tortie through and through.

🐈 ⭐️Success Story Sunday⭐️ 🐈

Another heartwarming adoption tail (😉) we want to share with you guys! Last night, Cloudy and Strike went home to their forever family. This brother and sister now have a human sister to grow up alongside! 💝

Cloudy and Strike are an adventurous, cuddly, and oh so beautiful pair from the BVI🏝️ In the spring, one of our committed (and absolutely wonderful) foster families fell in love with a litter of kittens on their visit to the British Virgin Islands. They had their heart set on fostering these little guys, but had to wait a few months until they were vaxxed up and ready to head to Wellesley! In July, the kittens finally got the green light to make the journey to New England. 🍂

In foster, they received endless love and cuddles - and we’re excited to have that continue with their new family in their new home 💝😽

These 6 month old kittens, Isla and Adam, from Tortola have been in our Wellesley, Massachusetts shelter way too long. Personally I can't imagine anything better than two tabbies, one orange and one brown. They are really sweet and well socialized. If we don't get an adoption application soon, we will have to break up this bonded pair. Please share. Thanks! 🐾🐾🐾💞💞

Meet Dolores. This sweet 3 year old calico has been adored in her home but during a move they were not able to take all of their cats. Dolores is not a fan of other cats (she tolerated them when living with them but was not happy) and we would like her to be an only cat with someone who is home much of the time. We are so impressed and so grateful that Julie Kennerson’s Wellesley Middle School 6th grade home room did a Read-a-thon and raised (wait for it) $5,300.00 for ! They did a lot of reading and fundraising! Shout out to volunteer Viihaan who initially put our name in the ring. These funds will pay for all of our spay/neuter surgeries this summer and will feed the cats and pay for multiple cat air costs from the Caribbean. Thank you!

Three gingers and their tortoiseshell sister have traveled up from St. Thomas in three separate flights over 5 days. Today, they are luxuriating in being reunited. I feel blessed to be hanging out with them! They are 2.5 months old and all girls except for one ginger boy. 🐾 🐾🐾🐾💕💕

🪻⚠️New kittens alert!⚠️🪻

Olive, Violet, and Azure are now seven weeks old - so we thought it was time to properly introduce these little guys. 😊

These babies’ mom, Azzy, came to us from an adopter surrender situation in Rhode Island. When she arrived, she was thought to be about six weeks pregnant. It was clear from the get-go that the mom-to-be was a huge people person, so we placed her in a foster where she could receive around the clock love💕

In early January, Azzy went into labor. She had three beautiful babies - Azure, Violet, and Olive. Unfortunately and for unknown reasons, she also gave birth to three stillborns. Soon after having her litter, it was clear to the foster that she was not producing enough milk to feed her babies. The foster took them to the ER and consulted the vet team about how to best care for Azzy and her little ones!

The family was transferred to a new foster, Chris, who was able to keep up with their around the clock care as an experienced bottle feeder. The babies have been under her care since, and are steadily gaining weight and growing into healthy and happy little ones! 😇 Azzy is nursing a bit and, in between, they’re being supplemented by Chris. We have felt so lucky this family has received such committed and compassionate care.

🐾✨Success Story Wednesday✨🐾

Last week, the first two kittens of our Sylvie litter went home. Sage and Salem found their forever home, falling in love at first sight with their new big sister!! 😊

These little guys had been under our intensive care for nearly two months, so sending them home was beautifully bittersweet. They went to such a caring home, and we couldn’t be happier to know that they’ll grow up alongside one another🥰😇

Simon is the dad of our Sylvie litter, and he’s a TOTAL sweetheart🥰 We believe he is about a year old, so he’s still a youthful gentleman 🎩

He adores attention and is a huge people person (cat). He loves nothing more than to be snuggled up with a human friend or to receive a nice neck scratch 🤗

He also loves a little treat - specifically salmon flavored temptations 🍣 - and we don’t blame him! 🙈

Scarlett took another trip to the emergency vet yesterday to have the doctors check out her little lungs. She’s been placed on a new slew of antibiotics and is under intense TLC💗 She’s a fighter! 🥰
