It’s International Cat Day, show us your Caats!

International Cat Day takes place on August 8 of every year. This means that International Cat Day is Sunday, August 8, 2021. The holiday was created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare. It started as a day to raise awareness for cats and learn about different ways to help and protect them.

Downtown Tabby Soup Kitchen

Located in Hollywood, Florida the Downtown Tabby Soup Kitchen is a 501(c) 3, all volunteer organization. Our purpose is to protect and improve the lives of our community cats through Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate & Return (TNVR), along with the medical care, daily feedings, and monitoring of the cat colonies. By creating stabilized cat colonies, we are able to help our community cats live long, healthy, and happy lives, while also educating the local public to reach out to us for assistance in helping them support and stabilizing feral cat colonies around them.
