Everyone meet Clyde the bunny!🐰

Cycle is a 5 year old male bunny who belongs to the Pet Pals Program at New Renaissance Middle School. Clyde was brought in to see Dr. Elizabeth McMorran for advanced dentistry at Hometown Animal Hospital & All Pets Dental.

The students at New Renaissance Middle in the Pet Pals program gave Dr. McMorran and her dental team a huge thank you with an amazing gift basket. They also made beautiful handmade flower pens for the Hometown staff!

We were honored to help Clyde hop out with a bright new smile and we’re glad to be able to help the Pet Pals Program at New Renaissance Middle School!

Did you know that less than 10% of the pets that are unchipped will return home each year?

A microchip is a secure, reliable, permanent identification for your pet and the process is simple and affordable. Microchipping your pet can help ensure that if your pet goes missing, they can be identified and find their way back to you.

If your pet is chipped, make sure their information is up to date. To help keep pets close to their loved ones, share this post and remind your friends to !

Is your pet scooting or licking their rear? It could be their a**l glands.

A**l glands are located on the rear of dogs and cats. The glands produce an oily, fishy-smelling fluid that helps with scent marking. Sometimes these glands can get impacted or infected.

Soft, consistent stool, as well as allergies, are common causes of irritation. If your pet is scooting, licking excessively, or showing signs of discomfort around their rear end, contact us! We will help to identify the cause and determine the best course of treatment.

With tomorrow being Hairball Awareness Day, we wanted to remind our cat parents about the importance of preventing hairballs.

Accumulated from excessive grooming, hairballs can build in your cat’s digestive system and either get coughed up or in some cases, need surgical removal.
If your cat is excessively vomiting, lethargic, loses their appetite, or has diarrhea or constipation, these may be signs of a blockage and you should contact our team immediately.
