How It All Began! =D
I’ve always wanted a husky even when I was little boy. Back then, to me they looked so close to a wolf. Beautiful and elegant at the same time. But we never got one because they were too expensive and we didn’t even know where to get one. Facebook and MySpace weren’t a thing then. Jesus I just gave out my age lol. We were stuck with ankle bitters from which we never kept (not my choice) due to them well biting ankles. I didn’t get my first husky until I was an adult and in the Marine Corps. She was a beautiful red and white Siberian Husky. She’s also the husky above in the picture with my son. Due to family issues I had to find her a new home and I found her a really good home too! She went with a fellow Marine and his family and she’s been happy eating steak ever since. In 2014 after I got settled in CT, I got another red and white husky and her name is Lexi. She’s been a part of the family ever since I laid my eyes on her as a pup. After a few years she seemed lonely since it was only her, the kids, and myself. I decided to get her a companion and we named him AJ. AJ from when he was a pup till now, has grown into a well trained Alpha and was kind of a little trouble maker but we love him anyway. So where am I going with all this? My love for wanting a husky lasted for years before I got my first one but I know that I’m not the only one in the world who felt that way. So we decided to RESPONSIBLY breed purebred Siberian Huskies and make them accessible to people who have a passion for the breed but more importantly can also take care of them as a member of their family. We don’t breed for the money because money isn’t everything. We do it for the dream that the little kid in all of our hearts always wanted! Thus The Husky Escape began! I got the name from the breed themselves. Huskies are escape artists and will always be until they grow out of it, if they grow out of it lol. The freedom to run around in the open like their ancestors did is what they want so a big fenced in yard is needed or frequent visits to a big dog park. Huskies are/aren’t a high maintenance breed. It all depends on the temperament of the dog. They are great house dogs (not guard dogs) and love children. Just give them love, attention, and something to keep them occupied when you aren’t home and you will be good =)
