Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue We are a non-profit that rescues homeless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, and care for them until we can find them a good home.

Our adoptions are held primarily at the Gainesville PetSmart.http://www.puppyhillfarm.com We are a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible animal rescue organization whose mission is to save as many animals as possible. We work closely with Alachua County Animal Services to reduce euthanasias at the Alachua County shelter. We adopt dogs and cats of all ages to good homes at the Gainesville Petsmart (Butler Plaza

on Archer Rd) every Saturday and Sunday. We have a great selection of adoptable animals, including puppies, adult dogs, small dogs, cats, and kittens. All of our animals have been started on vaccinations (depending on how long they have been with us, they may need further vaccinations after adoptions). All have been vet checked and treated for any notable illness. All dogs are heartworm negative and many have been through heartworm treatment in our program. Some of these animals may have special needs, all of which are discussed at time of adoption. We often have specials on adult animal adoptions. Not that these animals have flaws, but they are slightly used and may not be perfect! These are adult animals looking for a permanent home and they have many different stories of their pasts and all deserve a second chance at the good life. All Benji wanted for Christmas was to find a family, but that didn't work out! HOWEVER we found someone to SPONSOR his adoption fee so we could find him a family BEFORE St. Paddy's day!

Benji spent some time in a shelter before coming to us and was extremely stressed out at the shelter. Because he's so stressed out in kennel situations, he's a little barky at Petsmart and we post a sign on his kennel asking you to avoid sticking your fingers inside the bars.

HOWEVER, once you meet this little guy outside of his kennel, he's a real charmer. He's a snugglebug and is extremely eager to please his person. He's extremely sweet and really just loves human attention. Benji IS dog-selective, but could be okay with a dog that respects his personal space (he'd be happy just loving all over his person too!).

We'd really love to get Benji into a home, even through a foster or foster-to-adopt situation. If you feel like you could give this little guy a chance, please email us at [email protected].

Luna really wants to find a person or family to love - come and meet her at Petsmart on Saturday!

Luna is a bully breed mix who is about 4-5 years old. Luna is a very cute, wiggly and lovable girl who is eager to please, loves treats and is VERY food-motivated (she already knows some basic obedience)! Luna is a very good girl. Since Luna is a very rough and tumble kinda girl when playing, we consider her to be dog-selective (she'd need a good pup match) ❤🐾❤

Luna has been with us for awhile, so we're super happy to announce that her adoption fee IS SPONSORED!

Puppy and kitten season has barely started and we are already getting desperate pleas from rural and local shelters (and citizens stepping up to help with strays) to help with litters! They are all wildly overwhelmed and beyond capacity.

We have pulled several litters of puppies from shelters and we need YOUR HELP to continue helping the shelters!

Can you foster one or more puppies until they become adoptable (neutered/spayed and UTD with vaccinations)? We supply all vet care, a crate, food and other supplies you need while you foster. We ask that you bring your foster pup to our adoption events, once the pup becomes adoptable. Younger puppies will need to be fostered in at least pairs to provide social enrichment.

Honey really wants to find a family - come and meet her at Petsmart on Saturday!

Honey is a hound/bully breed mix who spent time in several other shelters and rescues before coming to us at Puppyhill Farm Rescue. She's about 5-6 years old and weighs in at about 45lbs. We REALLY want to find Honey a home situation with a foster (could be foster-to-adopt) or adopter! Honey really, really, really, really loves people but needs be the only pet in the home. She loves a yard to run around in or to just sun herself in! Everyone who meets Honey falls in love with her - she's a gorgeous girl who desperately wants someone to call her own ❤🐾❤

UPDATE: Kitty finally decided to come out of hiding and is reunited with mom!

Please BOLO for this kitty! We let another wonderful organization use our parking lot at our adoption center on SR 21 in Melrose today as a gathering point to collect cats for transport to neuter/spay appointments.

During the process, this kitty slipped away from that organization. We have assisted with placing traps and expect that this little one will stay close by! Please don't chase if you see the kitty - just PM us!

Who's up for a foster puppy challenge? One of our partner shelters has 3 under socialized puppies who need some one-on-one time and some patience. An outgoing resident dog usually helps with their comfort and confidence as well. We provide food, foster supplies, and take care of medical needs. Meet Harriet! 🐾 She's a 4-5 month old Shepherd/Hound mix who’s going to grow into a big, beautiful, extra-large adult. Despite her size, she's incredibly gentle and easygoing, making her the perfect companion for any family. Come meet Harriet today at PetSmart (Archer Rd) from 11 AM to 4 PM and see if she's the furry friend you've been searching for! 🐶💖 And remember #thankstoSubaru all adult dog and cat adoption fees are waived during the month of October!

We have these cute pups at PetSmart (Archer Rd) available for adoption today from 11 am to 4 pm! In this video, you can see the three sweet girls but there are also 2 male pups from the same litter available. They are four months old and are current on vaccinations. Come out and meet them today!

This handsome guy is looking for a foster so he can get sprung from the shelter! He's not only handsome (with striking blue eyes), but he knows a slew of commands, like sit, down, up, off, and look at me! He also likes other dogs :) He's an active dog and needs plenty of mental and physical exercise. We provide all the supplies, you bring him to our Saturday adoption events at Petsmart-Archer Rd.
