These two darling dogs are two of my very first clients when I started my pet sitting business. The lab is Nika, a very sweet lab. The little daschund is Cody. He passed away this week at the age of 19. Cody had a wonderful life filled with love, lots of adventures, 3 humans who doted on him all his life, and a beautiful big sister for companionship. Cody, I feel so lucky to have been part of your life. Rest in peace Little Codykins. You are loved and missed.

Here is a sassy little old lady named Sophie. She is hearing and vision impaired. But she eats like a champ and finds her way around the backyard in leaps and bounds. She still enjoys short walks around her neighborhood sniffing all the familiar scents she has known for years.

RIP Duke. Duke's mom called today and let me know that this special little guy passed away this week. He was in the loving arms of his mom and dad. I have been hanging out with Duke for over 2 years and I really loved that little guy. He was quite a character and had so much personality. I think this is the hardest thing about being a pet caregiver. It really hurts when you lose one. But I cannot think of any other job I would rather have. Cross the Rainbow Bridge Little One and remember you have always been loved.
