We are an unlimited intake facility that takes in approximately 1300 dogs and cats annually. Each and every animal that comes into our care is treated with the utmost respect and dignity befitting a living, feeling being. We work hard to place each animal that comes under our care into the most appropriate home or environment. We proudly consider our shelter to be a full service facility for the r

esidents of Cape May County. The shelter reserves the right to remove any posts that promote products or businesses that are not involved with the direct support of our facility.

Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, Schnoodle, Malti Poo, CavaPoo, DoodleyDoo! Everyone wants a Doodle or a Poo! So why is Bruce still at the Shelter??? We can't explain it! This two-year-old Doodle Mix has been at the Shelter since the first week of July! He is about 60 pounds, friendly, smart, funny and playful! He is a volunteer favorite! Look how nice he sits alongside our volunteer at a recent adoption event at the PetSmart in Rio Grande, NJ. PLEASE help us get this good boy into a home! He wants out! SHARE SHARE SHARE!!
