Featured Friday!! Did you know we are Tampa’s first non-anesthesia pet dental spa. Our mission is to provide dogs and cats with the best preventative oral care and to educate pet parents on maintaining a healthy mouth for their pets at home.

Procedure includes: a dental consultation, hand scaling, polishing, brushing, antiseptic wipe, dental report, before & after pictures, and an at home care plan. Cost is $175.

Our Pet Dental Spa’s are located in Oldsmar & South Tampa. We are open Monday through Friday with one Saturday a month. Hope to see you and your pets soon!

Meet Arielle!! She’s our amazing CVT dental technician who’s been with us for over a year. Her passion for pet dental health shines through in her work. Prior to working with V.I.C. , Arielle was a veterinary technician in general practices performing routine exams, anesthetic dentals, extractions, X-rays, and monitoring surgeries, among many other tasks. She is very comfortable with all types of animals and has previously worked on or cared for pets/wildlife including dogs, cats, snakes, iguanas, bearded dragons, geckos, frogs, turtles, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, hawks, rodents, rabbits, foxes, deer, cows, sheep/goats, pigs, eagles, owls, raccoons, and horses.

Too funny not to share....but please don’t give your dog antlers to chew on. Antlers along with other hard bones cause fractured teeth. See our earlier post with the slab fracture.

Preventative Care & Pet Dental Education are our top 2 priorities here at V.I.C. Pet Care. All of our appointments start with a dental consult to see if your pet is a candidate for our non-anesthesia dental cleaning. Unfortunately this sweet boy has a painful slab fracture which needs to be addressed by his veterinarian. Once this tooth is extracted we look forward to seeing him every 6 months for preventative care. 🐾 .
