💕 🐾 WINNIE UPDATE
Even the simplest tasks can be monumental for a dog who has endured trauma and abuse. Today, Winnie took a significant step forward by playing with a toy for the first time since she was rescued on February 25th. These small moments of progress mean the world to us and fill our hearts with hope.
We are truly grateful for the unwavering support from everyone who has stood by Winnie and our organization, as well as the Veterinary Medical Center at LWR for their continued care and Winnie's wonderful foster, Anaelle. Your encouragement fuels our determination to help her heal and thrive. We promise to keep you updated on her journey and share every triumph along the way. Together, we will make a difference in Winnie's life and show her the love and care she deserves. Thank you for being a part of this remarkable journey.
Winnie's story, along with many others, is the reason why we do what we do. Please consider supporting us on April 9th and 10th during the Giving Challenge 2024. You can #BeTheOne to make a significant impact on the lives of animals like Winnie and help us continue our mission of providing care and support to those in need.

We are much more than a lost pet organization ... Here is a video of some of the highlights of what we do. Please watch.
Throughout the year Lost Pet Services (LPS) is faced with many requests for assistance with veterinary funding for medical emergencies/critical injuries, pet illnesses and pet owners needing safety-net resources. Since 2018, Lost Pet Services has funded over $235,000 toward these needs, assisting pet owners facing financial hardships.
Many critical cases occur when lost pets are hit by cars while bolting. Critical ER cases, many requiring surgeries, are often out of the pet owner's financial means. Lost Pet Services is committed to preventing surrender or economic euthanasia by providing financial assistance to ensure companion pets live their fullest lives happy, healthy, and at home with those who love them.
Thanks to their Heroes . . .
Lost Pet Services was able to help fund over 300 cases since the Giving Challenge of 2022, many with owners and families who would have otherwise had to make a heartbreaking decision to surrender or euthanize their pet.
Thanks to the continued support of our community, which was made possible through generous donations during the Giving Challenge 2022 and throughout the following year, LPS was able to keep these pets and those who love them together. For those whose owners were never found, LPS was able to treat the injured and sick and help them find new, loving homes.
As the ongoing Medical Assistance Program needs increase, our new PAWs Project - Partners for Animal Welfare, will expand access to critical veterinary medical funding assistance for pet owners in need and increase awareness of financial challenges those seeking medical help for their pets face.
We hope you will support us during the Giving Challenge 2024 on April 9 - 10 from noon to noon so we can continue to offer this much-needed program for pet owners in need of assistance and the strays without famil

A Story of Compassion & Caring
🐾💖🐶🎄
As the season of giving approaches, we want to share with you a story of hope and love. A story that shows how your generosity can make a lasting difference in the lives of countless animals.
Meet Suzie and Snowball, two sweet sisters who came to Lost Pet Services (LPS) as owner surrenders. They were neglected and sick, but they never gave up on each other. They found comfort and healing in the arms of the LPS team, who gave them the care and attention they deserved. Today, they are happy and healthy, but they still dream of finding a forever home.
Suzie and Snowball are just two of the many pets who benefit from the nonprofit work of LPS. Lost Pet Services, Inc. is the nonprofit heart of the Lost and Found Pets 941 group, an online community that helps reunite lost pets with their owners.
But this nonprofit does so much more. They also care for pets through medical funding, covering everything from routine check-ups to major surgeries. Since 2018, they have provided over $200,000 in essential care and financial assistance to animals in need, whether they are injured, homeless, or at risk of being separated from their families.
This Giving Tuesday, November 28th, we invite you to join us in supporting this amazing cause. By making a donation, no matter how big or small, you can make a huge difference. It could mean providing life-saving medical treatment for a sick or injured pet, ensuring that a family can keep their beloved pet, or giving a homeless animal a second chance at happiness.
With your help, LPS can continue to be a source of hope and love for animals in our community. Let's make this Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28th, a day of kindness and generosity, and together, we can create a community where every animal is cherished and cared for.
Thank you for your consideration. Your compassion will touch the hearts of countless animals like Suzie & Snowball.

Yesterday the stars aligned to help reunite a senior pet with his senior owner.
Neither the finder nor the owner were members of our FB group, Lost and Found Pets 941 (Lost Pet Services), where we post all the lost and found pets.
We aren't sure how Chichi's owner came to find us. Chichi's finder was referred to us by Forest Lakes Animal Clinic.
Al gave us a call to report finding the frightened little Maltese who he said had been running around the neighborhood for days. When he was finally able to catch him, he took him to Forest Lakes to be scanned for a chip. No chip, but Al was determined to help find his home.
He gave us a call and described the dog but had trouble texting us a picture. We created a post using a generic graphic and then searched our lost pet albums. Within less than 5 minutes, we found Chichi's post from the night before. It had to be a match.
We gave Al and Chichi's owner a call. Chichi's owner was in tears when we told him he had likely been found. He immediately went over to Al's house to see if the found dog was Chichi. Al had Patty on the phone when Chuck arrived and tears were flowing all around. Chuck was so thankful. Chichi had been missing for 4 days.
If it hadn't been for Forest Lakes' referral and Chuck finding our group, who knows when Chichi would have been reunited.
We are always thankful for referrals to our group and our community helping us reunite so many lost pets.
#thankful
We'd like to wish a special Happy Birthday to our VP, Terry Creamer. She's been with us for over 7 years. She works from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. almost every day. She never says no when asked to help.
Words can't express what a special person she is and how much we appreciate her. The 1000's of pets she has helped thank her, too. Happy Birthday, Terry!

Fluffy – All But Skin & Bones
Fluffy, a senior Persian indoor cat, went missing one May day. Her mom contacted us for help. She only had a close-up picture for us to post. More than 2 ½ months later, someone found an emaciated long-hair cat with calico colors. Terry Creamer immediately made the match.
What we does matter. What our volunteers do matter. Everyone that helps us reunite pets matter.
Fluffy’s fate may have been different if the Good Samaritan that found her hadn’t found us and asked for help.
We do so much more than reunite lost pets – although we are awesome at that.
Help us provide much-needed veterinary funding for pets who are found without owners like Fluffy who need care. We do that. Lots of that. Over 350 pets have been helped by Lost Pet Services.
